Marlin,

Think this has more potential as is 1/6th of the size of On2. As The Analyst says at least VDS aren't tied to On2 if a beter codec comes along.

pimp, companys all over the world doing the same, there only one very small co compared to the others. check out there clients in japan and china and the rest of the far east.marlin

Yep. VDS are one of their clients and seem to make better use of the On2 technology than the rest. Both companies seem to be doing well.

Only have to read the thread header to get the vds codec info marlin. I presume that most people posting here have at least done that.

I can see that vds and on2 have potential to do very well. The nice thing for vds is that if a better codec were to be developed, they can switch as they are not tied to any particular codec.
