26/2/2024 16:20 | Goldman Sucks are in total control of the share price. Whilst they have millions of our monies to manipulate the order book the price won't get much beyond 160 (if at all) BOD/CEO just do as the House Broker tells them - useless Lloyds, Barcs, NWest have all been climbing for a week whilst VM has just flat lined... | crazi
15/2/2024 10:01 | All i will say is that there is something very strange going on in this share. Lots of buying and share price has hardly shifted, but as soon as the AGM was mentioned it seemed to generate a lot of activity. Hmmm wonder if board are seeing their bonus gallop off over the hill. As an aside why did they (Board) change the ROTE - hmmm is it tied into their bonus? Answers on the back of a voting slip please 😉 | swiss paul
14/2/2024 11:50 | ref ROTE would be interested to know why the difference on rote is so high ? is it a real fair comparison or are you/we comparing apples with pears if they have different balance sheet profiles. To me part of the attration here was that they needed to do doneky work to take an incoherent mess of brands and get simple coherent brand and also modernise. The realityn is to close branches to modernise and merge brands costs money and takes investment compared to company that might be ticking over not needing to re-invent itself. It might simply be the quality be the balance sheet this company inherited - if its clearly different profile that perhaps you cant expect same numbers. Are you 100% sure there are no genuione reaoons for difference in rote that should just fundamentally be accepted medium term or even long term. Ie comparison isnt right or fair. Comparsions of numbers to other companies without the detail of why they are different is imho adding little of use. At least 8% is a 33% improvement on 6% To me the most imprtant thing here is that they give good customer service and brand is clear and on point and that they work to providing simple digital stuff for as much as they can do (clearly good progress has ben made ref closing branches). In that regard ongoing investment may be needed - other that "customer service" things seem to be trending in the right direction. Ref customer service they seem to have had an ability to annoy a % of their customers - thats not great and needs to be addressed. Note it might be semi planned to not go out your way to get insituation where customer can stand their and have natter over stuff for 15 minutes - i do think they still have issues though in tis regard from peeps i have spoken to. Thats not a huge sample though - but one of my mates worked form them and used a different bank for banking - not a great advert. Ref poor customer service perhaps thats just symptom of what they had was not they wanted to provide so some of teh tools didnt make good customer service easy. If you are closing branch in 3 months time is it top priority to ensure customer service in that branch is great ? also staff morale while you are downsizing will be on the floor i ssupect till they have some degree of confidence they are simply not on waiting list to be given p45. | rmillaree

05/1/2024 14:17 | Goldman Sucks putting the boot in today. Watch your dividend monies erode the value of your remaining shares as they weight that Sell side as hard as they can... It amazes me that CEO's don't make it a condition on these Brokers that if they don't "lift" the share price when buying £100'S MILLIONS in stock then they get NO BONUS... How hard can it be for a CEO to have some BALLS! | crazi
30/11/2023 21:04 | Not me fella - I just wanted us to take back control :-) | swiss paul
