Yep price target upped to 520p and 2014/5 PBT upgraded from £5.7m to £6.2m. For 2015/6 its been upgraded from PBT of £7m to £7.5m. After the good run I guess profit taking was inevitable but I have every faith Geoff Wilding will continue to deliver in spades here - its the only consolidator (in this space) in town.

Ok thanks d4v1db. I agree, this does look an interesting opportunity so will watch closely. If these are the last "exceptionals" as it were, then following the recent deal, this drop may provide a nice entry point.
cheers

Hi QS99, I'm surprised at the drop today although suspect it will recover. The termination of the CFD and the special dividend both happened in July and were already priced into the share. Check out the chart back in July and you'll see when this happened as it cut the share price in half.

425 now after a 60,000 buy today.

new note out by Cantor......leave me your e mail will send it. then come back and delete.
Target just shy of 500p current with a raft of savings to come.

With forecast EPS year to march 35.1p we must be well in the 40¬s year after.

debt stands at 22 million or 2.1 x EBITDA

Still a fair few earn outs but this will run on and on in my opinion.

Purchased a small amount at £2.22 just over a month ago. Very pleased with a 70% increase in 5 weeks or so (should of bought more)! Believe £4.50 would be a fair short term target with £7 to £8 achievable next year given the expected rise in profits. Stock is hard to come by and the fact no one is cashing in their profits just yet given the massive recent percentage rise speaks volumes... Good luck to all.

Impressive to see this thing moving up on another down day in the markets. There doesn't appear to be much stock around. I can see this running through 400p with relative ease...

Share options of 746,000 to BGF
Issue of 100,000 new ordinary shares to Abingdon vendors?

Not exactly a placing but still dilutes holding by approx. 6%. Albeit in 3 years
time (or 2 other scenarios)

WELL you are up already.

This could make 40/50p a share from current companies.t/o circa 175/185 million.

I just love the quality of deals. No over paying.

We have just bought 75 million of t/o for under 8 million + up to 4.5 depending on EBIT and yet they have cash of 1 million and NAV of over 8 million.
Its making 2.4 million a year to boot as well.
Just add that to the balance sheet. Spent 8 million get 8 million. Earn over 2 a year.
So many little operations out there with serious added value.

I like this Guy !

500p short term target does look like a sensible valuation. I tried to buy some this afternoon but couldn't buy any decent volume, I guess that's a good thing! In case you've not seen it, here's a link to Aim Prospector's article on VCP

I think further bolt on companies are coming.
People like FURLONG OR BROCKWAY.

This is not over and I am now revising my target to 500p short term (12 months) and 750p 24 months.
Things are moving fast and anyone jumping ship will wish they had stayed on board.

Savings of 500k a year will be made as well.

Be interesting to know how long this deal has been on the cards as there are a fair few others still to take out.
See above for the odd suggestion.

Castleford...you were a few minutes too soon! Have you seen the acquisition they have just announced? This must be massively earnings enhancing for them. Forecast for year to Mar 2015 is turnover of £85m/PBT of £4.7m and EPS of 31.8p. No shares being issued, and the enlarged group has turnover of £160m...with synergies etc there should be a long way for this to go. Anyone else have any thoughts?
