02/8/2022 11:40 | On the verge of insolvency, clearly the board don't know much about business, they would be better off working in the private sector management such as the NHS where the important skills required are chiefly to be able to waste an endless supply of free money, no questions asked. | my retirement fund
02/8/2022 11:33 | £5 to £3.30, you'd need to sell your gold to cover your losses. Good to see management have faith and bought 300 000 share or whatever it was and the company has faith in buying at £8 per share, now also acquiring profit diluting companies..... has the company lost the plot? | bart1066
27/7/2022 20:59 | Profit last year ¥2m loss this year £12m No dividend But if you adjust the numbers and exclude the bad news I suppose you can find a pot of gold | bda3490
26/7/2022 17:10 | Your perfect storm is probably very true at the moment but I believe VCP are in a great position to take advantage, when the global economy start's to recover . I suppose the big question is when, but it will happen.I'll keep adding till then. | rotrader
26/7/2022 13:14 | Perfect storm, reduced demand, rising costs, much of this is energy and commodity based, and unadjusted losses. Expansion then appears to come from acquisitions with earnings that further dilute the VCP margins. Has the VCP model faltered now the macro economic climate has changed? Shorters have arrived, see thus as a stock in decline, no reason to invest no capital growth and no dividends | bart1066
26/7/2022 10:53 | Sub 4 could trigger lots of stops | my retirement fund
25/7/2022 16:44 | @myretirementfund - still a substantial amount being shorted (3.46%) but the time will come when they have to close & buy them back. And with three seperate funds in the frame, that will be an interesting one to watch (might indeed be a few carpet burns). ;-) | drk1
25/7/2022 15:36 | Longs getting carpet burns. | spectoacc
25/7/2022 15:34 | not so sure they have closed rotrader going sub 4 looks probable | my retirement fund
21/7/2022 19:29 | this is 100% down to the substantial short attack which could end abruptly if there is a whiff of positive news, or rumour of a potential bidder. Considerable upside to be gained for those with a little patience. ;-) | dr knowledge
21/7/2022 16:35 | Refer to post 1799 | rotrader
21/7/2022 15:44 | so a dead cat bounce on a short closing? | my retirement fund
21/7/2022 15:36 | First decent up day for it for a while (not a holder). | spectoacc
21/7/2022 10:23 | Tiny reduction in Blackrock's short on the 19th, should now see further reductions in the coming days and a long overdue rally- crazy share price at the moment. | dr knowledge
20/7/2022 18:51 | Me I’m confused Profit last year £2.8 m loses £ 12.8 m No earnings per sage no dividend Prefs that get all the shares Now back in 2011 the boss posted on here do not hesitate to call me. I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you. My telephone number is 07879 552 708 That was Geoff Wilding post on page 170 I’ve read the prelims but can’t get past losses and to be fair the charge for the prefs | bda3490
19/7/2022 16:08 | Take a look at note 6 to the accounts CT. That gives you the true debt figure once prefs are included. | arthur_lame_stocks

19/7/2022 14:47 | Always worth a read once in a while hxxps://static1.squa | mysteronz
19/7/2022 13:54 | Net debt is actually around £750m and the company loses money and generates no cash for shareholders. How's it cheap? | arthur_lame_stocks
19/7/2022 13:26 | I think the company looks cheap. market cap plus debt is 880m With turnover and profits where they are. Just needs a year of consolidation. That said the market does look weak | castleford tiger
19/7/2022 12:43 | mysteronz19 Jul '22 - 12:38 - 1810 of 1812 0 0 0 Very happy with results. -------------------- Jeez ! | my retirement fund
19/7/2022 12:40 | I'm not a shorter, I just follow the company because it has always appeared to me that there is a big disconnect between the intrinsic value and the price of the shares. I also think Geoff Wilding is a ramper and hasn't really done anything remarkable. The results for 2022 will probably be truly awful. I may have been a bit hasty saying the company would go bust because the debt is mostly bonds and prefs which won't be repayable immediately and they have the cash to see them through a couple of tough years but I remain of the opinion that these shares are fundamentally worthless. | arthur_lame_stocks
19/7/2022 12:38 | Very happy with results. No issue with reinvesting cash into improving, cheap but low margin businesses and seeing that come through in years to come. Great transparency as ever from the company | mysteronz
19/7/2022 11:23 | Market has certainly spoken now. 445p high trade, now 396p low trade. Hugely growing t/o no longer in fashion, when not accompanied by profits. Credit to the shorters. | spectoacc
19/7/2022 09:04 | Yes shocking, a car crash in slow mo here | my retirement fund |
