10/5/2022 11:38 | Every little helps (as does any sign of director confidence). | drk1
10/5/2022 11:26 | A small director buy too, tho not sure he should be front-running the buy back. | spectoacc
10/5/2022 07:58 | last buyback started at £6.6, ended up at £8.8, let hope they sustain it like last time. | theprovosts
06/5/2022 14:13 | The Koch money was prefs not ords. | arthur_lame_stocks
06/5/2022 13:47 | what was the last KOCH equity raise at? the RNS's dont specify a price. "the transaction has completed and Victoria has received £150 million" - 17th Jan | theprovosts
05/5/2022 17:14 | Market manipulation- the shorters are going to get seriously burned and I'm looking forward to it - ISA maxed out so more in the SIPP.All you invested, keep positive.I had issues with the PLC when I worked for Victoria Carpets but that's in the past, all I see now is a progressive group of businesses ( except for Abingdon Carpets)ready to take off when the recovery begins or like I've stated before a big American company tries a buy out | rotrader
05/5/2022 08:35 | Post 1714 - I agree ;-) | rotrader
04/5/2022 20:29 | Hi Arthur If you feel like that why don’t you short the stock. I take the opposite view to you and whilst I agree that the statutory P and L might well show low profits that is inevitable when so many acquisitions are happening. It is the underlying business that I remain interested in. | longterm56
04/5/2022 18:23 | I'm expecting particularly dire results this year, even by the standards of this worthless company. With the cost of living rising significantly faster than incomes and the property market likely to stall at last and recession looming. Why anyone thinks this is worth nearly £800m is beyond me, I think it will go broke. | arthur_lame_stocks
03/5/2022 12:47 | It will be moving to Worcester soon. Modern facilities | rotrader
29/4/2022 20:16 | Too much leverage for me. It's an interesting story though, so will watch to see what happens. Their Kidderminster site is seriously busy - Alliance Flooring now, but lots more activity than when it was just the head-office building. | topvest
29/4/2022 12:48 | seems to be one seller holding this back with an Iceberg which is getting heavily eaten away at. Was trading at £8 after the previous above expectations update. Has been walked down to facilitate the sale of this seller. Bought a solid chunk, PE of 3.6 if you believe EBITDA of £200m this year. Pretty ridiculous price imo. | theprovosts
28/4/2022 22:47 | Global leading flooring manufacturers Q1 results today "Mohawk's results exceeded our expectations as first quarter sales rose to an all-time record, reflecting higher pricing, growth in our ceramic businesses," | william127
27/4/2022 11:44 | What planet are you on - there is a War going on which could escalate to nuclear- the cost of living has rocketed- Covid is still about.Buying opportunity for you or short it at your peril . | rotrader
27/4/2022 08:20 | Gone very quiet on here. Unlike the s/p, which has been dire. Last reported buy-back was at £7.65. | spectoacc
12/4/2022 19:01 | It probably didn't rise today because underlying EBITDA dropped significantly in the second half. Expect more losses at the statutory level with the finals. This year will probably be even worse. | arthur_lame_stocks
12/4/2022 15:41 | I also added some to my Sipp today (1000) & confident that when market sentiment returns, so will the growth in SP! | drk1
12/4/2022 14:58 | So I took the plunge and bought another 1294, approx. £10k worth at 772p, having read their update and in view of their being an AIM share for IHT benefit if I pop my clogs before they get taken over . Needless to say, they have now drifted lower. Let's hope they reverse direction soon. Perhaps they would have more attraction if they paid dividends. All my expenses are rocketing up and my income is somewhat static. | bouleversee
12/4/2022 14:30 | Time will tell- waiting game in these troubled times | rotrader
12/4/2022 14:27 | There is a lot of market manipulation- shorters and some worried about the debt.We have been this way before but l am reasonably confident. Victoria keep buying shares and they know more than us. | rotrader
12/4/2022 07:50 | Good timing R with your purchase and today's trading update | william127
11/4/2022 16:55 | Rotrader - Why do you suppose the share price is going down rather than up in view of all this share buying by the company? I'd like to buy more but not sure I have the courage having been hit elsewhere. | bouleversee
11/4/2022 16:25 | Maxed the ISA out today. Can't see that the debt is a major problem.VCP are dominating the market in flooring ready for the recovery- might take some time but they are setting their stall ,DYOR | rotrader
28/3/2022 20:26 | If the debt has a rating of BB- what do you think that makes the equity worth? | arthur_lame_stocks |
