1retirement - What rubbish are you on about. This is a share bulletin board where all manner of derogatory and defamatory comments are made about directors and their companies. The more so when PIs are losing or have lost their money.

In Smith V ADVFN Lord Justice Eady said bulletin board comments are not to be treated as serious libel similar to that of newspaper print. Bulletin board comments are more akin to saloon bar chat he said, where a comment is made a handful of people read it then everybody moves on.

He did not totally rule out any cases that might fit the description of libel but for the better part the comments are nothing more than chit chat and not the stuff of a high court libel case.

He's probably right though, and if the Cotswold Sparkys and Fireballs of this world would only acknowledge that, then they would all be a lot richer and wiser.

Even if he's referring to people no longer associated with the company?

I'd proffer that they've currently got more important things to do.

"Mr Hodge is hanging around, that's good enough for me."

Yeah, he made all the difference when Rickett's was running the show.

When you use the terms such as "stealing PI money", "issuing fake RNS announcements" and "intended to decieve" I'd proffer you are treading a thin line over libellous comments that the company could and probably should challenge you on.

It was even worse than that, 52 week range gives 0.058 as low point in mid June.

Nothing libellous, all fact. 180p - 0.097p speaks for itself.

And you have to imagine that the company would just turn a blind eye to the practice as long as they get their money.

So the 45mill buy yesterday was all part of the pump by the looks of it. Someone made a nice few quid.

35% up, to RED in a flash, only on the bent AIM market, and particularly applicable to VRS

Sounds like you didn't learn anything when I educated you about 'placing' some time ago.

Yeah pretty sure this is the real deal now. Look at all those sells getting some profit from the 45mill buy yesterday in advance of the 3x dilution

Agreed. Don't get carried away with this spike been here a million times before. Unless its underpinned by commercial news its likely to be the precursor of another placing.

Fingers crossed this is the breakthrough shareholders have been waiting for.

I wish I'd traded this forward selling, pre placing spike, we've seen dozens, if not more. But even I can't be bothered anymore, despite it being like shooting fish in a barrel.

I never said I don't want to hear negative opinions.

To the contrary, they just illustrate to which side of the field the sheep have been huddled. I was merely commenting on the phenomenon.

One word: 'complacency'.

Bluemango,

If you don't want to hear negative opinions of a company why visit a discussion board at all?

Clearly endless, repetitive, meaningless, positive posts, as per the rampers thread, don't bother you at all, so why not just read that one, and ignore anyone posting negatively?

Interesting that people that post such claptrap have never posted a negative about the company despite the fall from `185p to 0.01p!!! Yes, they're the guys you should be listening to, ignore the bears here that called it right all the way down.
