NR. On Twitter

Wearer trials going well, we are working with @uniofglos to provide scientific evidence of data received from wearers.
More products on way, delayed by terrible events in Sri Lanka, although the company is looking ways to overcome.

some of us already knew that and have been here for many years and are sitting on large losses.
nr got carried away and his mania sucked in many who were not prepared for such a long gestation. to be honest, neither was i but i was giving it 2 to 3 years. we are now well beyond that. nr is responsible for the low mood of many contributors to this bb.
we all hope it is a question of not 'if' but 'when'.
the jury is still out.
an earlier poster mused on whether vrs is being run by techies who are not business savvy and cannot close a deal. that may be true and reminds me of iqe - a similar business that has consistently failed in spite of owning a world beating product.
many on here still hold precisely bec they are sitting on large paper losses. i am one.
fortunately, i do not need the money. if i did i would feel much lower. the downside for me from here is many thousands, but not hundreds of them. i have already faced that and live with it.

People usually rest their case on evidence not beliefs.I think we have evidence that some applications will become large- scale . I do believe the world will be a better place when predictive text predicts its and not it's. I am looking forward to my view that this will soar being proven.

You either believe in NR or you don’t .
You either believe in this new wonder material and it’s applications or you don’t .
You either believe in your own judgment or you don’t .

I’m a believer that VRS will make me wealthy .
I rest my case.

Given the extremes of the ongoing battle between BULLS and BEARS here, the EXTREME bears here will always claim that they have called the decline in the VRS share price correctly.

But their focus is always upon the historic 180pence? high reached some years back, rather than the here & now.

Whilst many of the bearish comments are either true or have elements of truth behind them, those EXTREME bears conveniently miss the here & now share price situation and, if anything, will just suggest the VRS share price is heading still lower.

Now, only a fool would suggest where the VRS share price will head from today (circa 37 pence right now to BUY), but as I have mentioned many times during this year and last, I view the following point as key...

* Since the COVID low point early last year, if you had bought VRS shares each time they hit 37 pence to BUY, you would have been presented with an opportunity to sell those 37pence BOUGHT shares at a very healthy profit, on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS;

So, if you are going to SELL, I'd suggest you sell next time VRS hits, say, 50 pence again, rather than at the currently VERY DEPRESSED level.

But investors who lack experience tend to SELL when they get worried, and tend to BUY more when they get excited. Any moment of thought will tell all sensible people that you should do quite the opposite, and BUY each time the share price moves distinctly lower. [I think this is what some of our so-called EXTREME BEARS do, and they they become VERY QUIET once the share price moves back up 10-20%; and then rinse & repeat.]

Dear laginelli,

I didn't see them 'giving away shares' they used them to 'buy' the other

company so I guess the directors in the other company saw 'value' in the

VRS shares.

Are you talking about the South Korean acquisition?

That looks to me like a disguised placing at about 12p. No-one here has any knowledge over what the actual value of the assets bought were, and it strikes me as very strange that someone who had been dealing with them for years would then have to go through VRS for access to the patents.

Things are rarely simple when it comes to VRS deals.

I deliberately set September 15th as a target for a textile deal. Because it's the only date , except my birthday and the start of WW2, that I know in that month. And another quarter of a year and restlessness might have flushed even more of us out. Not me though!

Hello Dud,

'..Buying companies, giving away shares we can all do!'

The secret is to buy the right companies.

I didn't see them 'giving away shares' they used them to 'buy' the other

company so I guess the directors in the other company saw 'value' in the

VRS shares.

Come on Dud .. chin up .. have a cup of tea.. patience..

Dudhew, what exactly were you expecting? It's a new product from niche companies. it takes years for new products to take off , not minutes. Also on the local scale British construction companies are hardly at the forefront of innovation. I built an eco friendly building 2 years ago and the lack of knowledge was astonishing. Everything had to come from Europe.Graphene concrete shows great promise - it will take years to become widely adopted. Some of you need to get real.CM CM

What is skill that they possess, beyond promotion?

I have always been bullish of management and the company. Very skilled people in their field but increasingly I feel not business people. Concretene possibly the greatest invention this century but a real damp squib in impact has opened my eyes. Closing deals is a skill that escapes the company. Buying companies, giving away shares we can all do! My loyalty is being eroded daily.

Dear RogerTheGrouch,

If, as I believe, VRS ends up a further 80% down from its current levels, I eagerly await your description of the opportunity that presents itself to investors such as yourself.

Short term, the shares can go anywhere, of course, but even you must concede that bears have been proven correct over the last few years?

VRS has had more pivots in its business plan than the average AIM promotion, which is quite a feat.

A share that is 80% down despite the company being in a far superior position in a more mature market is surely the amber nectar of shares.

Strong buy

Unfortunately a bit of a squandered opportunity and the market seems to think so too. If that's what all the construction savings can do by adding a couple of pence on the share price of a tiny company then I'm not surprised people are selling. They will have to work ten times as hard to win people over after all the false dawns. Volume is pitiful too. Very unloved stock sadly and all avoidable. Too excitable.
