After seven years he could have changed the ruddy car.

Indeed so, but has he finished changing that wheel? I too am not enjoying those carefree years of life and would like that conformation that VRS can convert those numerous collabs into sales. I'm sure though that NR's aspirations are aligned with ours.

Fireball,
"I'm sure exuberance empowers drive" Whilst that may or may not be true, mere giddiness and ebullience ,in and of themselves, do not pay the bills.

"let's hope the journey he takes us on was never foreseen." Unfortunately the actualité has proven otherwise.

Superg, The following encapsulates perfectly the hurdles that I previously mentioned:

"The loan will be available for drawdown following perfection of normal commercial security arrangements in eight quarterly tranches, the first of which drawdowns is expected within the next month. Further, details concerning the Loan will be provided upon the completion of security documentation, which will be announced in due course."

So we now have a self imposed deadline of the 31st July/ 1st August for the announcement of the completion of the security documentation upon which the loan drawdown is predicated.

How will that play out before Friday?

There would have been a massive amount of Gov approval and engagement re that loan.

Quite obviously the gov want the UK to benefit directly from the graphene revolution.

Scum hiding all their assets to avoid large court orders for their lies have obvious agendas.

Hmmm. Seven years may be trifling to one who is 20. Not so much for one who is 78.

All about perspective.

Wait for that promised book, it will be hell of read and some very embarrassed folks about on the things they have said.

Scumbags aside of course as their lies and deceit is for personal gain, they thrive on it.

EG the loans bit about they know damn well they are lying, Innovate give examples where they gave loans bit those involved has offers elsewhere.

Purely fictional scare tactics and I would be surprised to see that the Chancellor had direct or indirect of the VRS deal, or someone higher than him. After all he is the one who declared support for such innovation in recent announcements.

Innovate is innovate loans.

The RNS was very clear.

About time we had some sense of order in the VRS maturation process.Very well put Mr Dragon. VRS have made clear that their reporting etiquette will favour the AR. I expect there to be a full disclosure of the progress made.Good to see Superg back to full throttle. All of us have probably suffered the miserable vagaries of AIM. My particular focus is on BMR which kindly took holders from the frying pan to the fire. Accounts written with fiction in mind, for years, followed by neglect of duty and the transfer of valuable assets without so much of a binding agreement. Fleeced by the vultures and the hyenas circling for the rich pickings. The regulators, sitting toothless and allowing all manner of indiscretions.I know SP's should reflect destinations and they do. I'd rather be here and know that NR is chaining a wheel and not siphoning off the petrol. The challenges he faces and the intolerance of get rich quick investors is lamentable and must be painful for the CEO who prides himself with his fortitude and sense of moral purpose. If it all goes wrong, I've enjoyed the journey and am happily invested. I don't believe for a second that it will and I'm more than happy to share in the VRS success.

Superg, I appreciate the forbearance and restraint that you have shown with regards to my 106201 post. It was a momentary aberration caused by frustration brought about by the interminable wait for any meaningful progress and domestic pressures with the strife.

But even you must admit that NR has the uncanny knack of setting up hurdles and then haplessly falling over them. Repeatedly.

I too belong to that generation you speak of so am perfectly aware of all the virtues of patience, and whilst Job was ultimately richly rewarded I suspect that all of us will not be granted the extra 140 years to enjoy our rewards. Surely there has to come a time when NR has to actually deliver on his promises. I was wading through all the announcements and promises since the company's inception in 2013 and let me tell you that all it managed to do was to flush out my lachrymal glands. I could not find a SINGLE instance of a promise/aim/ambition that eventually came to pass.

But before anyone says that I am not an ardent supporter of NR I will re-post my recent observation and hope that it comes to pass (no doubt the accounts will confirm my assertion):

kemche - 02 Jul 2020 - 14:02:49 - 105505 of 106521 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS

Let us try and preempt the next collective TW attacks by examining the Innovate agreement and some of its details:

"The loan will be available for drawdown following perfection of normal commercial security arrangements in eight quarterly tranches, the first of which drawdowns is expected within the next month. Further, details concerning the Loan will be provided upon the completion of security documentation, which will be announced in due course."

So in the next 4 weeks we should get an announcement that all commercial security arrangements are "perfectly normal" and the first drawdown has occurred.

The loan "which is designed to enable Versarien to significantly increase its manufacture of quality assured graphene." clearly implies that there is CURRENTLY a production of graphene which they wish to INCREASE significantly. Having been told numerous times how much pent up demand there is for our certified graphene then I would not expect to find any of that produced stock to be sitting in the Finished Goods/ Stock in hand category in the balance sheet at the year end. The obvious corollary to that is the produced graphene will have been sold so expect stellar sales numbers. That will surely spoil TW's breakfast come the 11th August. Good!

The loan will be available for drawdown in 8 quarterly tranches - so over a two year period. Does this mean that the SIGNIFICANT INCREASE in production will begin AFTER 2 years? Or do we buy the machinery now, on a 2 year loan repayable by the loan provisions, and boost production now? If the latter, then surely we can just start selling the significantly increased production boosting sales, profits and cashflow immediately and therefore not need to avail ourselves of the time "45 months after drawdown and be paid over a subsequent period of 36 months." and the attendant (quite eye watering) 7.5% interest rate?

Is NR playing another blinder as is his want? The wily old fox! Get the money, boost supplies immediately, sell the lot because of the insatiable demand, to hell with the Chinese, repay the Innovate loan in no time at all? Imagine being a shorter on the other side of that!

Interesting indeed! No wonder the smart money is averaging down.

Luck

The cycle of the 30th June China expectations is now washing through but VRS is a pony with dozens dozen tricks not 1. The China thing hasn't gone away but June 30th has.

There are more ponies it that field (well moor tbh such is the size and expanse of it all) than we are aware of.

Matt didn't make a blind leap, he knows what is coming, neither did the UK gov.

It's the little things said over time that need to be concentrated on, quite clearly they have not been able to expand on some points until there is no option left but to declare it.

Left field......or rather left moor.

Before taking an initial position in Versarien, I reviewed the past accounts and the wealth of news in addition to some of the useful posts on here. I’m looking forward to reading the latest AR in a couple of weeks time. It was made clear that the company intends to use the results announcements to provide updates on the status of collaborations and will not make announcements between these unless a disclosure obligation arises. As Neill recently stated on twitter, no news is good news, and whilst this upset a few on here for reasons I can’t comprehend, this very much points to the status of the projects remaining unchanged which was also stipulated in the Feb update. The status, as per previous updates and interims, was one of progression across the board so I’m anticipating further progression and further steps made to commercialization. Looking at the chart and the share price its clear the stock is oversold and the decline is purely down to investor patience. With relatively fresh eyes, the business appears to be making all the right moves, aligned to the strategy and in a healthy financial position. I have patience and seek shares that have significant upside. I have a long term fund for such shares and this continues to appeal, particularly at the current levels. I continue to rebalance my portfolio to account for this and consequently adding to my position regularly.

Wishing you all luck for the weeks ahead

I did read your post 106201 re doubt, but note no moderation, ban or response.

I understand the doubt but those that know me best know that I am a force for the good, always have been always will be. My whole generation are the same, I am surrounded by people of s similar ilk from all walks of life.

They share the same type of view on scumbags, Funnily enough they are all hard working folk whose wish in life is to make things better for others and those that depend on them.

None of us ask for scumbags to poke their nose in to try and cause harm, but they do, tough on them re the consequences.

Fight crime, crush evil.

Sorry Joe, I thought the TERN fun was over just bringing old stuff with certain folk still gloating there

I am not backwards in coming forwards with my views on companies and have posted vociferously on some obvious frauds in the past even though close friends have been in them. I do give them fair warning before the rant>

No different to my life if I spot a wrong 'un be it a scumbag or a senior officer I do not shy from going where most fear to tread, no matter what threats they make or how it impacts me.

Simple really, I don't like scumbags, never have never will. If certain circs ever arise then it will become very apparent, just how deep that hatred of scum is.

I have no intention of mentioning my other holdings here and suggest others don't either. It's good to see the idiots return for their final push and it's a good sign of them getting twitchyI've a feeling the next couple of weeks are going to be kind to us and deservedly so.What you will see is the detractors trying to push decent posts off the board by flooding with the same drivel they have failed to quantify over and over again.I suspect the block button becoming very used and if the really want there is a different thread for those who are not holders and want to criticise.I know nooothing

Scumbags have always been the source of my determination to act for a lifetime, it is not going to change now.

A few weeks off, had things to do, all done and I'm back.

Lol! This is so brilliant.
