I was thinking about potholes (like you do...) ...runways must be a prime place for using graphene in asphalt...the extra cost would be more than justified if it prevented having to cancel/delay flights. Not only that but you can’t grit runways so it would presumably help with frost too.

I'm looking forward to days where the share price rises on no news days. For days in a row. Then "healthy profit taking".

Down the road I'm sure graphene and nano materials will heavily feature in that Saudi futuristic city Neom which Aecom got the contract for.

I had a chat about that too, including graphene in concrete.

There is a huge future ahead for graphene and other nano materials it WILL be a new materials revolution, I have no doubt.

Currently I'm invested in the Apple of the graphene world.

I don't think they need advice from me Tim:-). It just seems that some on here expect the arch to be launched onto the market in the next few weeks/months.

No sign of Bego this morning who dominated during the start of the supply and dominated yesterday knocking the price down. They came off the offer late on yesterday.

Morning Herchel,

Sorry if we upset you sending emails. Is publicity that bad for the company

when we spot articles, opportunity like that?

Perhaps we should ask NR if we did wrong.

hew, bobsworth, what do you think?

I just don't want another round of testing. Surely it should be tested in a tunnel with a train rumbling through it every couple of minutes?

Billwave. It would be extremely unlikely for Aecom to put at risk over 18 months of build and testing by moving from the only independent verified producer of graphene in the world to another supplier at this stage

Why was the arch being tested outside when it is due to be fitted underground?

Can I suggest that people don't send emails trying to get AECOM (and thus VRS) into contracts.......if you think they're not already aware of these commissions/opportunities you're being very naive. They don't become multi-national companies through luck.If anything you might end up doing more harm than good.Just my thoughts on the subject.H

On the subject of the arch a great post from evergreen....."Just read the posts in relation to the replacement of the 1930s signalling for NY that tells us that Aecom are “all over this” .

This is a further salutary lesson for me that no matter what you think you know you simply don’t know what it is that you don’t know.

But equally to a significant degree I am rebuking myself for failing to extrapolate the known information about the age and limitations of the historical infrastructure in the Uk to cause me to research the situation elsewhere. Truly a slap the forehead moment. So obvious in hind sight. But then isn’t everything?

Aecom must have been well aware due to their existing contracts with NY Transport, building the three new stations and 1.8 miles of additional track. This also explains to me the justification for what initially appeared to be a disproportionately large level of excitement within aecom for the arch.

Their view of the arch clearly related not just to the insignificant little multi million pound contract with TfL but with the Billions of pounds that will be spent globally replacing 1930s signalling with modern digital functionality.

I have scaled up my expectations for this sector massively to the extent that on top of the increases in other sectors that I have had to factor into my earlier thinking that I am getting dizzy trying to get my head round the incredible scale of the opportunities that sit before us as the worlds only Certified producer.

I really have to laugh at myself, I have struggled for years working 70 hours a week in my own business to reach a level of financial security for my advancing years with little prospect of retirement which framed my view of how the remainder of my life would be.
Now? ..........total about turn.
I’m not saying for a minute that I expect that we will jump straight to our ultimate ATH, far from it, but OMG even on the completion of the first commercial contract the value of the pending contracts must be recognised by the market and the price per share will rocket.

From that point forward no matter how far we travel we will never reach the horizon of potential as the scope of new applications will open up far faster that we will be able to fully serve the existing demand for our product across every conceivable sector by every commercial operation Globally.

The implications are so HUGE that I just cannot imagine the ultimate scale of the global demand and the associated revenues and profits. Totally off the charts,

But that’s medium to long term.

In the short term I do view the suggestion that the O& G discussions going on this week should prove fruitful with both immediate and medium to long term benefit.

Similarly the negotiations with the MAS clients should be capable of being brought to a satisfactory conclusion .

For all our sakes I genuinely wish you all mental and physical health, wealth and happiness starting now with the expectation of the first large scale commercial contract early 2020.

I am sure that long term holders believe in the company rather than posts from people who are not invested.
I know from those spent on the arch open day that the AECOM staff were very enthusiastic about the prospects for the arch and other possible applications.

And everyone that is constantly getting excited about the "Aecom Arch" that has not yet progressed beyond the testing phase does realise that it isn't VRS technology right? VRS has been involved with some of the compounds used for manufacturing the arch for testing purposes only and it may or may not be used, nothing yet confirmed unless someone knows different? The concept of the Aecom Arch will most likely be going ahead with or without VRS involvement. I'll believe it when it's real confirmed news rather than speculation, far too much of that here and as yet they've still not managed to find a viable commercial use for any of its products or achieve revenue generation of any kind. Fact.

Nice tweet reply from Matt Walker:-Happy New Year to you and your family too. The secondment officially ends mid 2020 but let's see what happens. I do have personal and company goals in line with policies and I'm very happy. That's as much as I can say really but my gosh does graphene have a rosy future!

Rhe

The comments of what was suspected to be going on were clearly here for all to see.
A suspected seller of 1 mill plus in a disorderly manner suggested distressed or otherwise.

It shows the value of sticking to research and experience.

When it’s gone it’s gone. Bego seemed to be picking it all up and they went off the bid late today.

Clearly someone with over 1 mill as detailed in previous posts.

When it starts to bounce people buy.
