"Neill was lack lustre, compared with his usual performance"

bcause he knew there was no real substance to this announcement and actual revenues are still some way off. This morning's RNS was another epic non-event...

RTG, you and I always disagreed about this. In terms of ensuring that secured wealth from an investment is protected, news flow is vital once the share price contains more hope value than fundamental value. If news flow dries up to a point where a decline in the share price becomes the greater probability, an investor should top slice to preserve their wealth and, either canti-lever into another favoured share or sit on the cash and buy back in when news flow recommences. I am making these points as a long term holder - 2015.

I am not a seller at the moment and this position is reinforced by today's RNS, in particular:

1. The textile partner is truly massive.
2. All of the trials to enable a commercial agreement seem to have been done.
3. This is the time of year where apparel vendors want to hit the market with new
products just in time for Christmas, although Neill made no mention of this on
Vox.
4. Unlike BIGT, there is no government or political (Hong Kong)involvement.
5. NR is confident enough to get back on Twitter declaring this as one of five! He
knows the level of castigation he will get, if there are no material
developments in the very near term after such a tweet.
6. There is co- negotiation with the end customers, giving VRS some degree of
commercial autonomy within the textile marketplace. I.e. this is not a royalty
based deal.
7. The renewed reference to 1/5 means he does still think some of the other 4 are
within striking distance, in my view potentially before 12 Dec.
8. He cannot afford the next Results to tank the share price if BIGT is to have any
chance of crossing the line at the right value, a key event in his expansion
plans to move VRS up the food chain (possible 3D Printer acquisition).
9. There is clearly still a lot going on since he is having trouble fitting in a
podcast. A podcast that I thought would be very bullish, but wasn't.

I do like the direction VRS are taking. Whilst we don’t know the detail a commercial partnership feels like it is broader than just a supply agreement. Taking time to get this in place and add value in the supply chain will pay dividends longer term when a competitor does emerge. VRS will be much more difficult to replace than if they just had a contract to supply. Equally if you only have supply contracts it’s much more likely that you’ll end up with commodity pricing as you have no other USP. Today’s announcement suggests VRS will be able to retain premium pricing of premium grade Graphene over the long term.

The results on 12th December is interesting timing as surely you wouldn’t pick that date for fun given it’s Election Day. Hopefully it means more news ahead of then. The results themselves are pretty meaningless as I’m only after the update on all the collaborations that they normally do and see if Graphene revenues are declared as this will include the 12kg order and 1kg nanene that they have previously RNSd.

Exciting times ahead.

Hello Folks,

Not sure Justin's interview as much rubbish as you think?

By repeated mention of a mega success story in disruptive technology, TESLA

alongside repeated mention of VERSARIEN disruptive technology a psychological

link is created in peoples minds.

I think that was good but I know it was likely an accident.

So are we going to be a Tesla like super story or bigger !!

Depends Rid, if you are a long time holder, short term timescales are irrelevant.

This morning's news has put the credibility of the VRS strategy back up several notches, and to suggest otherwise is wrong.
The VRS, VoX interview was the worst one that I have heard to date though. JW was inadequate, but Neill was lack lustre, compared with his usual performance. There should have been a positive statement on the near to medium term potential for sales stemming from this agreement and over what likely timescale. The complete lack of definition on this point was a disappointment. The lengthy discussion on Tesla just wasted valuable interview time.

I think Neill likes the Tesla Wagon! Truck in fact.Justin likes to discuss market related issues not totally related to the job in hand .But Neill is working to the plan and as they say planning his work accordingly. He had hinted textiles would be number 1 announcement. It will be interesting to see how this news travels. We'll be up again tomorrow for sure. But the trend is turning too. How odd that the UK is providing a valuable "raw material" if ink can be described thus? ?,,?
