27/11/2019 10:43 | I think it's important to look beyond the obvious sports apparel applications and carefully consider the bigger picture and direction of travel. If you dig deeper into MAS for example and look into some of the companies within the group, such as Nanowear, you will start to get a glimpse of some of the wider applications, such as health monitoring. Things that many of us would not yet have considered, like bedsheets and pillows in hospitals to assist with patient monitoring. The list of potential applications is almost endless and can extend to almost every aspect of our lives. And that's just apparel!!!!! It's also clear (to some at least), that a commercial agreement of this nature would not have been agreed, unless it was clear that end brands were already satisfied with the testing and benefits. It is also unlikely this deal would have been signed unless the whole supply chain and end products had already been costed with every company in the supply chain being confident of decent profit margins. IMO, this means that the end brands will already have products planned, costed and ready for launch at an appropriate time. For VRS to have agreed this type of supply contract with potentially massive brands, without being bullied into exclusivity agreements should tell you everything you need to know with regards to how much value the likes of MAS and the major apparel brands place in VRS Graphinks technology, quality and manufacturing capability. Only company's with genuinely top quality or unique IP have sufficient negotiating leverage to avoid conceding on exclusivity with the huge brands that are likely to emerge as end users. Truly exciting times for both VRS and indeed the whole apparel and textile markets. Well done the VRS team. Fantastic achievement. Revenues won't take long from this point. | schmally

27/11/2019 10:06 | Clint As I understand it there is some hiding behind the screen. MAS are not the drivers of this. Such big names use all sorts of tactics to cover tracks and hide what they are doing. MAS was known by a small few a long time ago due to a well hidden web page. However it was never going to be posted here for morons to try and destroy a deal for a UK company with global majors. That's how vindictive and nasty some are, disgraceful isn't it. A UK company trying to create revenue and jobs and poisonous insignificant scumbags trying to stop it. How low can you get trying to make money low level cash out of destroying the life of others. How would they like it if the table was turned on them in their world. | ![]() superg1

MAS is one of South Asia’s largest clothing and textile manufacturers and has been collaborating for almost two years with Versarien. This new agreement sets out the basis for commercial orders and contracts for garments using graphene inks and follows a letter of intent signed in July. Neill Ricketts, Versarien’s chief executive, said: “This is the first demonstration of our graphene commercialisation strategy with a major global partner moving from the stage of having a collaboration agreement, through signing a letter of intent, to entering into a full commercial partnership agreement." "We look forward to working with MAS and its customers to bring innovative graphene-enhanced garments to the global marketplace," he added. [...] [...] | jointer13 |
