"I suspect none of the graphene in that article is VRS's (otherwise we would know about it). So other companies can produce useful graphene." A point which the majority of bulls on here are in total and constant denial of. How does a sensible and factual comment like that receive a down tick? Shows the mentality of the blinkered VRS followers. Remind me, was it today NR has his Loggy burner installed? What a shower. Well, fast approaching the end of "busy November", share price is becoming ever closer to dropping through support again now that the last bout of overexcitement has subsided. What nonsense will be conjured to save it this time I wonder.

If you would like a wall calendar featuring all the cartoons to date plus the xmas special please visit

All proceeds going to charity after postage and payment costs which are very minimal.

It mentions University of Exeter though so maybe it does indirectly?

Hope ther's no Graphene in that windscreen.

there is some good info in that link metis20..thanks.

"The graphene-reinforced concrete is produced by the addition of water‐stabilised graphene dispersions, with high yield, low cost, and compatible with the large‐scale manufacturing required for the use of this material in practical applications.
They demonstrated an extraordinary increase of up to 146 % in compressive strength, up to 79.5 % in flexural strength and a decrease in the maximum displacement due to compressive loading by 78 %. At the same time, they found an enhanced electrical and thermal performance with an 88 % increase in heat capacity.

Moreover, they proved a remarkable decrease in water permeability by nearly 400 % compared to standard concrete. This is an extremely sought‐after property for long durability of concrete structures and makes this novel composite material ideally suited for constructions in areas subject to flooding.
Finally, the researchers showed that the inclusion of graphene in currently used concrete would lead to a reduction of the amount of concrete material required by 50 % while still fulfilling the loading specifications for buildings. This would lead to a significant reduction of 446 kg per tonne of the carbon emissions from cement manufacturing [6]."

I don't think FACT is the right word. Most of those should read IN THEORY instead.A lot has still to be proved in the field.Much as I would like them to be true

our ip and know how is probably worth more than that.

its easy to get complacent...vrs

quality... consistency...commercial scale...unique.

"Successful commercialisation of graphene materials requires not only the ability to produce graphene to a declared specification, but to be able to do so at a commercial scale. It is nearly impossible for a graphene customer to verify the type of material they are receiving without going through an expensive and time-consuming process of having sample materials fully characterised by a laboratory that has the equipment and expertise to test graphene."

The Graphene Council have designed the Programme to be an important step in providing customers and end-users with a degree of confidence, that has not existed before, that they are sourcing material from a reputable supplier, bringing transparency and clarity to a rapidly changing and opaque market for graphene materials.

"This order emphasises the importance to the Company of the seconded employees from the Department for International Trade and their ability to access key markets and truly global corporations. We look forward to working with this customer to help them maximise the benefits the addition of our graphene can bring to a number of their products."

"the Chinese and British governments attached great importance"

At the meeting, the first Sino-British Graphene Results Incubation Center in Beijing, which the Chinese and British governments attached great importance to and strongly supported, was established (hereinafter referred to as the incubation center). The incubator center was established by the joint venture between Haohang Unicom (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Versarien Plc of the United Kingdom.

FACT 1 It is beyond question that VRS have proven that they are currently the ONLY manufacture of high Quality true Graphene at commercial levels as certified following exhaustive testing by the NGA in America, the GEIC in the UK and BIGT in China.

FACT 2. It has been proven that the tensile and compressive strength (modulus of rupture) of concrete is massively increased with the inclusion of VRS product, resulting in incredible reductions in the volume of concrete required to fulfil the 2025 Chinese plan to rebuild the Chinese infrastructure.

FACT 3 it has been proven on three continents that the effective lifespan of concrete structures containing Graphene is many times that of non-enhanced concrete allowing the Chinese government to adopt a long term whole life costing strategy that optimises total financial outlays over the next centuries while minimising the carbon footprint inherent in the 2025 national strategy.

FACT 4 it has been proven that the operational capacity for the existing road and rail infrastructure can be dramatically enhanced by the introduction of digital signalling as facilitated by AECOM and the Graphene enhanced printed Arch, at a fraction of the cost of augmenting the existing capacity with new road and rail infrastructure.

FACT 5 AECOM already hold substantial market share in the Chinese construction sector and expect to be awarded substantial additional contracts for which the printed arch and Graphene enhanced concrete would be ideally suited.

FACT 6 China has instigated a raft of radical cultural and legal changes that will come into effect on 1.1.2020 to facilitate China’s rise to pole position as THEE global manufacturing powerhouse embracing new technologies and manufacturing processes to create a sustainable, world beating economy which in no small part will be founded on enhanced products containing Graphene from VRS.

FACT 7 China rejected circa 300 domestic so called Graphene manufacturers in preference to establishing access to the ONLY reliable source of Graphene that will allow them to fulfil the 2025 strategy for the construction of the national infrastructure.

These Facts Lead to only one conclusion that China will very shortly conclude arrangements with Versarien and the share price will immediately be many multiples of the current level.

With this degree of certainty of a massive and imminent rise in the share price I am delighted that the market makers would appear to only look backwards when assessing value as it has allowed me to continue to top up and buy a fiver for a pound but moreover a fiver that will be worth many multiples of that in coming months.
