Neill Ricketts knows Andy Palmer (President and Group CEO at Aston Martin). I think they were on the plane trip to China with Theresa May together. NR owns an Aston Martin and the local dealership is a short walk away from Versarien HQ.

Has anyone picked up any reference to any mouldings or other graphene enhanced components in this latest 'made in Wales' Aston Martin vehicle?

I would be very surprised if the arch wasn't taken down and tested to check for degradation after the six month period.

Metis

The trial was said to be supplementary rather than crucial. After all it's in the open air subject to all sorts of weathere conditions, when its initial intended use is on the underground.

AECOM arch announcement - 24 July

trial is for 6 months

So presumably trial period ends mid-January 2020

CS, I don't understand your hourly/daily/weekly bashing, especially if you're invested in this share.

It is like having friends but bashing them all the time.
It is like having wife but keep shouting at her despite sleeping together on same bed happily every night.

Isn't it?

the testing can't be far off being done on the arch...if not done already.

we are in that many different sectors...always the intention.

doing it the right way..its all about to come to fruition.

looking forward.

Yep that will make sense and take years and years If you were in charge we'd still be using a chisel and stone walls as we'd be scared someone might copy it? We might not have used penicillin, or a mobile phone and heaven forbid no one could clone the horse with cart Maybe you should take money out of shares club and put it in the Bradford and bingley I know nooothing

Certainly been well tested this year metis, extreme heat on the open day and since then rain high winds and frosty cold weather will be testing the flex!

Not sure why leaving it in-situ to monitor in all weathers is incompetant. Sounds very sensible to me, anyone would think you have an agenda

"Aecom is working with Network Rail’s Western region team and its Bristol Parkway signalling training school to test the arch. Sensors have been installed to monitor how the arch performs in different weather conditions, measuring oscillation and deflection. The six-month trial is the next step towards commercialising the product."

Interesting snippet from the Twitter group. Apparently someone was in Bristol and the arch that such a big deal was made about in July is still *exactly where it was then*. If the AECOM arch is still there, left unattended in the middle of Bristol, it can’t be very hush hush technology can it? The Arch sits there in a goods yard, not exactly Area51 is it?

Looks like someone from VRS or Aecom - someone utterly UTTERLY incompetent - has screwed up. Again. Or was it not really such a big deal after all?

Had forgotten about this bit with so much going on . With Mississippi ramping up and the NGA doing similar .

Zina Jarrahi Cinker, Executive Director of the National Graphene Association, commented: "The establishment of Versarien's first U.S-Based application development facility in Houston, Texas is a significant step for the development of graphene and graphene technologies in the United States. Versarien is a key member the elite Graphene Industry Council and I strongly believe Versarien Graphene Inc will be well positioned to serve the North American end user markets and facilitate the integration of graphene in strategic product segments."

Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are very pleased to be moving to the next stage of our development in the US with the establishment of Versarien Graphene Inc and a dedicated facility in Houston.

"We are already pursuing a number of substantial opportunities in the US, particularly through the support of the National Graphene Association, and I expect our level of activity to significantly increase in the coming months, particularly given the high number of enquires we have had for the supply of our graphene and other 2D materials from leading US companies.

"I would like to express my sincere thanks to the support and assistance we have received from the National Graphene Association and Senator Wicker to develop our business and network in the US.

Isn't it a little hypocritical to criticise those who have sold VRS to chase profits elsewhere?

How come SuperG posts regularly on IOF about that company, but claims on here that he rarely logs in, and when he does, he only posts about crooks and other companies?Something is not adding up Sir?If VRS is going to be so great, why have you re bought your IOF holding?

its just that little bit of patience that's needed...the past was about putting things in place (necessity)...now commercialisation on a grand scale.
