Rampers hysteria of last weekend has produced nothing but a falling share price just as I predicted. They just don't get it. This outfit is running on hot air and tomorrows jam.

Just thinking back to UK companies in the graphene space

Thomas Swann was a contender until VRS won the CPI tender on supplying various 2 D materials.

Perpetuus were on the way out as the sold their reactors to a Japanese company and their offices were never open.

Haydale never did produce graphene and we know what has happened there.

Morgan Advanced Materials had an early interest but they too fell by the wayside on graphene.

I'm sure there are other small ones but none have really come to the fore.

Not much wonder of the UKgov involvement with VRS considering the links with Manchester, Cambridge, CPI, Warwick Manufacturing Group and Aecom.

No surprise really that they are the favourite as they have lasted the distance and grown not only in size but knowledge and ability.

You new to investing SoldierBoy?

When share prices rise over 20% in a day or two its pretty normal to retrace a couple of % to have a breather before the next big move up.

I like the reference to VRS at the signing ceremony

"The Beijing Versarien Graphene Company (BVGC) "

The difference in size between the two and Beijing embracing VRS is a sign that they acknowledge them as world lead in the graphene space, can't argue with that .

Great review RTG:

Verdict: The Ingenia CB-01 earphones from Artisanphonics are a revelation. They are the first pair of graphene-coated earphones that made me sit up and take notice. There’s something about the balance and smoothness of their delivery that makes listening to them positively addictive. The environment features like the use of wood and other sustainable materials are all bonus points. The remote that works with both iOS and Android devices are also very welcome. For the money, the Ingenia CB-01 are hard to beat. They’ll make you wish you had a headphone socket on your smartphone.

The protection of trademarks in China: key points

04 · 11 · 19 - IP News - Inés Cantero

The fourth amendment to the Chinese Trademark Law entered into force this 1st November. The revisions intend to create an environment with better legal certainty and to avoid unfair competition. This time, the focus of the corrections is on bad faith trademark applications and imposing harsher penalties on trademark infringers.
But what are the particularities of the Chinese trademark registration system? In this article we try to collect its key points.
Foreign Companies and trademark protection in China

The internationalization of China’s market economy during the last decade has made it one of the most interesting countries to invest. The business growth and economic development that this country has experienced in the last years make China an attractive market to foreign marketers. Chinese public authorities are aware of the role and importance that Intellectual Property plays in the country’s socioeconomic development and they have undertaken many measures to improve IP protection in their country. The revisions that have taken effect on 1 November 2019 are a proof of that.

Hadn't seen that when I posted, was just trying to be helpful! :-) Let's hope they consider it essential. I'd have thought building a hospital was but I've seen that decision put on hold

IIRC The new Chinese IP protection legislation kicks in on Jan 1st 2020. Could this be a delaying factor?

Sino-British Graphene Results Incubation Center was established

At the meeting, the first Sino-British Graphene Results Incubation Center in Beijing, which the Chinese and British governments attached great importance to and strongly supported, was established (hereinafter referred to as the “incubation center”). The incubator center was established by the joint venture between Haohang Unicom (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Versarien Plc of the United Kingdom. The Nobel Prize winner Konstantin Novoselov participated in the operation of the center and absorbed the cutting-edge technology of the UK's new materials industry. And the results of the team's industrialization, organically combined with the needs of domestic industry, the transformation of graphene and new materials scientific and technological achievements. At the same time, the Incubation Center relies on the core members of the China International Graphene Resources Industry Alliance to accelerate domestic and international technical exchanges and industrial advancement, promote technological R&D, results incubation and innovative development of upstream and downstream industries, and promote deep cooperation between China and the UK in the field of graphene technology innovation. We will implement the consensus of high-level cooperation between China and the UK on technological innovation and build a successful model of international scientific and technological cooperation

Personally, I am content that the board and team are progressing as fast as possible without making any rash decisions. I will wait until we see what comes in from China an BIGT. Not forgetting AECOM and textiles amongst others.
No more to say, have a nice day all.
