21/8/2019 19:22 | Have decided to close out my short. Frustrated to admit it, but this business is de-risked, I'm buying in tomorrow. | rainbow25

21/8/2019 18:45 | On a different tack, just seen some great news for one of my other shares NMC Health which has been unjustifiably shorted to death which should see them running for the hills in the morning! | ![]() aquaesulis01
21/8/2019 18:18 | With 5G taking off globally the demand for the Arch to expedite digitisation underground could be mind boggling | ![]() aquaesulis01

21/8/2019 17:46 | Germanicus21 Aug '19 - 16:49 - 77228 of 77233 I don't look silly at all. The share price was red for a time today just as I predicted yesterday. I didn't say that it would end the day red. I'm afraid you're the silly looking one. | ![]() rainbow23

21/8/2019 17:13 | 8]Graphene EditAs another carbon-based alternative, films of graphene are flexible and have been shown to allow 90% transparency with a lower electrical resistance than standard ITO.[9] Thin metal films are also seen as a potential replacement material. A hybrid material alternative currently being tested is an electrode made of silver nanowires and covered with graphene. The advantages to such materials include maintaining transparency while simultaneously being electrically conductive and flexible.[10] | ![]() 1teepee
21/8/2019 17:09 | thanks superg1 - some post on here today I recall mentioned 120kg per arch - no wonder I'm excited. | ![]() ewads
21/8/2019 17:04 | Ewads Spot on, VRS supply the graphene enhanced polymer and those it goes to use it to print whatever they like. On the numbers front Aecom did mention and example of multiple hundreds for one line which I took to be the underground for obvious reasons. Hence if the entire underground network in play it equates to thousands of arches. | ![]() superg1

21/8/2019 16:49 | rainbow23 21 Aug '19 - 13:58 - 77200 of 77227 0 3 2 Such excitement over an arch. Meanwhile the share price is red just as I predicted yesterday. No orders, no revenue, no hope. -------------------- Dopey, how silly do you look now?..... Lo very loud indeed! | germanicus
21/8/2019 16:41 | RED Held tightly I tried some buys late on to see what they had. I had to go all the way down to 1000 shares to get a quote. So yes shares tight at the moment. | ![]() superg1
21/8/2019 16:40 | Little surge at the end today. Just trying to catch up here and I'm grateful if someone could put me right on my understanding :- Arches are 3d printed using just Polygrene, which is a composite of polymer (no idea which - assume some kind of high density)and graphene. Also no idea what ratio polymer/graphene. VRS produce the finished product (in pellets, in bags of say 25kg?)and delivered to Scaled who print in sections then deliver to AEcom. Shouldn't be long before someone will know the price of Polygrene. | ![]() ewads

21/8/2019 16:36 | I'd certainly agree with that mat. 👍 Just another couple of bits from the report that attracted my attention were these: re Total Carbide :"It is particularly pleasing that it has seen an increase it its recent order books and is now involved in a project involving the use of Hexotene in ceramics. We have previously stated that the thermal/aluminium products business is non-core, but nonetheless recent restructuring has improved its business performance." "Current trading and outlook The Group has started off the new financial year very positively, with pleasing levels of revenue and profit from its plastics and hard wear and metallic businesses. With the investment in operational efficiencies made in the year ended 31 March 2019, we anticipate a further positive impact to the results." | ![]() woodpeckers
