How many shares has the CFO

For the record I am still fully committed to VRS and in fact own more shares than the CFO. I am fully aware of how long testing takes in some industries as I worked for many years in the nuclear industry. However if I am guilty of anything it's naivity. I got swept along with Neill's uber enthusiasm and expected things to happen sooner than they have. I am here for as long as it takes (but that doesn't make me less impatient).

Morning folks,

For all those that think Graphene is a 'one trick' pony look at this for potential:-

* Graphene in weight reduction of MANY parts of the car, battery trays, even the brake calipers!
* Graphene in solar cells!
* Graphene in batteries!
* Graphene in tyres!
* Graphene in flexible displays for the dashboard!

* Maybe for some applications, no need for plug in charging (some way of??)
* Polygrene wheels ?

The list seems never ending, fantastic future.

Sand

I’ve followed various shares with new ideas but existing sectors for some.

15-20 years down the road and none of them have got into first gear let alone material revenue.

Cambridge graphene wasn’t long ago. Currently there are various sports majors in the sector in wearer trials with the lab work testing done.

If you had asked VRS if the expected sports clothing to feature re the ink on acquisition, they would have laughed at the daft comment.

New materials have to go through all the safety and other tests.

EG a sports shoes can contain multiple different polymers in them, you can’t just stick a new material in them. How the the new material reacts with the others needs testing.

The fact so many big names are testing so many materials, is a sign of how important they think graphene can be to their own prospects.

Can anybody begin to consider whether graphene or any associate 2d material do the work of SF6 the new, but truthfully concerning , greenhouse gas concern?It's used as contact protection in both major technologies designed to help , namely, solar panel colonies, and wind turbine clusters.

Morning. 'and all inspire increasing confidence after a difficult period, when it has been faltering..' - must have missed this faltering period. 'difficult' - yes, if we possibly mean converting the big companies to the use of graphene but 'faltering' I'm not so sure of :)

A bit more

' First, invest in quality because quality always pays you back first. Even before the bottom was put in the bear market, capital started flowing back to quality first. This is something I always remember to this day. Second, invest in the best companies you can find that no one else owns because these companies can do well in any market environment. What does “No one else owns” mean. For me it means zero or very limited institutional ownership.

We as human beings are very impatient, so the hardest part of maturing as an investor is allowing ourselves the time. You can’t force it. Many investors “force it” by being active for activity’s sake. I believe it was Ed Borgato that said, “I find that a lot of what Wall Street perceives as productive activity is needless complexity”. Just like a fine wine, you have to be patient and allow yourself the time to mature. Pastor T.D. Jakes in his book, Destiny, says it best, “Many people cannot find success because they lack the patience to go through the process to become who they want to be.”

Only after you have experienced failure can you fully appreciate success. You aren't defined by it , you are prepared by it.

A big part of the preparation is so you develop a thick skin.True conviction can only be obtained by trusting your own research over that of others. Most multi-baggers will have long periods of stagnation as fundamentals backfill, old shareholders give up or get bored and new shareholders enter.

Every multi-baggers journey is filled with the corpses of highly intelligent-articulate naysayers

Every investors strategy is different, so don't waste a lot of time defending your positions to others. Do the work. Trust your work. Let company execution prove you right or wrong.

Sandbag - i do understand your frustrations and if it helps, for VRS I think like a private equity investor, so a 6-10 year+ investment and I’ve been invested since shortly after IPO with regular top ups, including higher than the current price.

As we all know groundbreaking industries take time to develop and come to fruition and timelines are often out of management control, so I ignore the BB banshees and take some comfort in the knowledge that the VRS board have a lot more to lose than I do.

Patience grasshoppers and nothing patronising intended!

Remember that if there is anything new and price sensitive it will have to be announced via RNS before the AGM starts.........

Things ARE in fact coming together.... The Tungshu announced graphene battery, and the Google attended @hackathon', The problems of signal processing on the Underground, and Aecom's ability to respond to them, The BIG talk of Chinese investment and the testing of graphene in textiles are all close to the initiation of separate trickles of future exponential cash streams, and all inspire increasing confidence after a difficult period, when it has been faltering.. It is incumbent on Neill and his team to raise confidence further with facts at/before the AGM, and I am sure they will.
