17/9/2019 19:46 | As it's Neill's birthday, thought we should have a few of my favourite quotes from him all together: “One of the great things about graphene is that it’s a bit like some of the conventional materials but ‘on steroids’! “ "A huge validation of our tec “I have an idea of the scale this business will have reached in five years, but if I told you, you’d think I was crazy and lock me up.” "all our long term holders will be well rewarded" “The worst case scenario is all of the things coming off all at the same time,” | woodpeckers
17/9/2019 19:46 | been discussed quite a lot...do keep up of course they can produce 30t of graphene per year or even a thousand t (think scalable)...a very simple way just install more machines at current level or... "Testing of new equipment is underway which, if successful, would expand our production capacity to up to 30 tonnes per annum of high quality graphene." all about the machines. we are progressing at pace. | jointer13
17/9/2019 19:43 | Thought I'd established the fact that they can't produce 30 tonnes per annum Davemac whether tests on the equipment are ultimately successful or not, unless REACH limits are extended. Current tested limit is 3 tonnes I believe. | aquaesulis01
17/9/2019 19:28 | Before it becomes "fact" on here that VRS can produce 30T of graphene per year I suggest AquaeSulis01 and others read post 73318. | davemac3
17/9/2019 19:11 | So equipment installed at Cheltenham capable of producing 30 tonnes per annum that will be restricted to producing only 10 tonnes per annum by EU REACH regulations as they currently stand. | aquaesulis01
17/9/2019 19:02 | Festario Festario1 Surely one Festario is more than enough? | tini5
17/9/2019 18:54 | We raised more than we needed for the Spanish takeover? | alchemy
17/9/2019 18:43 | all progressing...tippin | jointer13
17/9/2019 17:51 | mentioned here grabster in an rns. "New graphene production equipment has been installed in the UK and is now up and running at our Cheltenham manufacturing site which will enable us to meet the initial expected demands of our graphene based products. Testing of new equipment is underway which, if successful, would expand our production capacity to up to 30 tonnes per annum of high quality graphene. Manufacture and sale of graphene at these levels requires certain permissions under EU regulations and I am pleased to report that we have been successful in our registration and are now accredited to produce significant volumes of graphene under the EU rules for chemical production. | jointer13
17/9/2019 17:32 | In the NR interview quoted earlier today he mentions currently making 3t of graphene pa - but doesn't mention the upcoming 30t pa plan. Do we know any target date for that equipment being available? Having spoken of scaling up I would have thought he might mention it as the next intended level (further down the line or whatever) - but he didn't. | grabster
17/9/2019 17:30 | Everyone who reads Rns's must be insiders compared with you | 1teepee
17/9/2019 17:26 | What your missing is that invoices could be going into P/L since last accounting period. | alchemy
17/9/2019 17:13 | Whiteslice....Not the only one and it was some time ago. I do believe that several on here have done the same possibly including SG as the timescales for a possible rise are different. Some of us are hoping to make a bit more in IOF and then reinvest with VRS with more stock. All a gamble of course and I shall be very pleased if VRS news comes soon. | pshevlin
17/9/2019 16:59 | Rather frustrating today, new funds due this week , but not in my account yet. Hoping that the sellers will give me another chance tomorrow or when funds arrive. Far too stressful chasing and flipping, but it does give some long term investors good opportunities to top up. | rogerbridge
17/9/2019 16:51 | You are so correct. The co.paby is going in only one direction. Timescales are determined by external factors not least client internal politics, policies and also governmental / country politics and policies. But underlying it all Versarien is incredibly well positioned. We all hope that China deal will be clarified pre or at AGM but if it's not who cares will happen in time. So will the US. So will Japan. So will S.Korea. So will Europe. Out with countries ... so will performance clothing. So will aerospace. So will oil sector. So will so many sectors we havent considered. And of course so will AECOM. And I the meantime many who cant see beyond their nose will panic or trade. It is AIM after all. For those there is a counter -balancing opportunity for others. I am sticking ... this is going places. | meganxmas

17/9/2019 16:25 | Club sandwich I'm the exact opposite, stop loss got hit on BIDS today so I've come over here. Both will do well probably but I cant lose anymore there so I'm out. | inthemix
17/9/2019 16:14 | Sell low and buy high, best strategy out there, works every time 🤯😜 | luckyorange
17/9/2019 16:13 | Looks like or and more people are giving up on this and moving their money across to IOF, BIDS and elsewhere. Time will tell whether that is a wise or foolish move: but just at this second it looks pretty smart. | club sandwich
17/9/2019 16:10 | I wasn't referring to BIGT any more than any other ongoing collaboration, P Shevlin. We know as much as we are allowed to know, and there is no point in jeopardising any of the prospective deals just because a few nervous investors are getting jittery. It is as clear as I would expect it to be given the sensitivity of negotiating in such a cutting-edge field... | richgrumpa
17/9/2019 16:07 | Hardly anyone is pointing out the obvious contradiction here: either many posters on this BB are insiders who actually know what's going on - in which case they are breaking several laws; or they're not insiders, in which case they have no more idea of what is really going on than the rest of us, try as they might to appear otherwise. Unless of course Ricketts has been having a word in their shell-like off the record? It appears he has form in that department... | club sandwich |
