The previous years highs were due to people looking for a quick buck. They have left now and the share price is trickling up nicely RTG eloquently put in an earlier message the steps that have been made to advance the company significantly.I for one am happy this is climbing slowly and slipping a tad under the radar. Some who chase the next big thing have evidently been caught with their pants down and may now see this is expensive not because it is but because their egos won't let them buy at a rate higher than they sold.I'll say this to them the reason you bought in remains the same except it's better than it ever has been 25% profit is 25% profit etc regardless of what price you pay so you can get in and still make money If you look at the share try talking yourself out of buying with all the research that you have done. If you can't talk yourself out of it then buy. If you find a reason not to buy then don't whinge when the share price rises and then say it's overvalued as you didn't buy in.I don't have enough time in my day to follow shares I've no interest in let alone troll them so if I see a troll all I see as a huge ego that has been caught out I know nooothing Ps I'm in in

NY Boy - 08 Feb 2019 - 13:23:07 - 58698 of 75129 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS
This is just jam tomorrow outfit, no meaningful rns, no wonder investirscare cashing in here, buying more (STX), 50% in a few weeks , makes this one a poor return on investment.

On your bike Neill

Hope you guys got some STX, mentioned it as a “retire early” stock a few times and back in Feb when it was in 30p’s!

(STX) No brainier since it went up on fda approval on Friday, mostly the risk has gone, one way bet to 225, then leg up to 300/350p soon on commercialisation deal for the huge US markets, then eventual buy out by major pharma 400/450p +

Back to these, still kissing the long term stubborn 130p evil resistance, once we get decent closes above this level, I will start accumulating!

Dyor as usual!

Very much agree, invested initially in Nov 2017 and added much more since it does feel as Boris said we are on the cusp ...

It seems Oct/Nov 2017 was a time that many of us began investing here...how lucky are we to have found this company so early...hugely grateful sg for introducing me back then and to you and many others for your continued research which has meant that I have never considered selling but have simply continued to add whenever possible.

I feel we are now at a very exciting point in the company's 'life'...happy holder.

Exactly, whether it is that particular milestone that opens the flood gates or just general progression of the mini milestones to switch on the taps, the fact remains that as each month passes, Versarien becomes an ever more compelling investment and will soon become irresistible to HNWs and beyond.

Thanks Roger

There are such folk that have followed VRS before most is were here.

They will watch and wait for the trigger points you mention. They are far more risk averse than us.

😂 Anley, that made me smile, especially as I wasn’t expecting it, well put.

I did tell the analyst that I don’t trust a word they put in a note. Not specific to him just all of them, 100% bent.

SuperG regarding your statement... "The nano tech age will come and it will bring with them some seriously HNW individuals, masses of them."

When I spoke to the Berenberg analyst, he stated that there were many more HNWs interested in Versarien but were waiting for the next key milestone to be achieved. I understand that milestone is the BIGT deal/Chinese investment. When this milestone is achieved, we should see more HNW getting onboard with a queue of funds behind them.

A seesaw always starts slowly at tipping point and then accelerates. Big few months ahead!

The Verified Graphene Producer™ Program

The graphene market is crowded and becoming increasingly confusing, with new companies regularly appearing on the scene. There are at least 180 companies world-wide claiming to produce and supply graphene materials of various grades and morphology.

In a review of material specification sheets for 60 graphene products, The Graphene Council found that more than 45 different material characteristics were listed, but not one of them was common to all of the materials claiming to be graphene. In fact, less than 75% of the products reviewed shared a common listed specification.

This makes it impossible for a buyer to compare materials from different suppliers without actually testing each sample, and a full graphene sample characterization by a world-class lab costs approximately $12-15,000 - per sample!

That last bit shows the importance of the verification by the big names.

Unless that FT writer is an exception, there is probably little value in trying to educate her, except for the positive of finding an avenue in which to vent.

These days many that write those type of articles are fire and forget. They will be quick to do follow-up articles if their conjecture/guesswork/random observations end up happening ("see I was spot on"), but will completely ignore it if their ramblings end up the opposite of what actually happened.

Verified graphene producer

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before but a few have tried to get qualification but have failed.

If you started down that route today it's said it would take about 2 years start to finish, if you were successful.

As most don't have graphene, they never have and never will go down that route.

Sorry to demonstrate my ignorance Graham but is he on board yet?
If he isn't do we need to point him in our direction?

Nice one Anley

Another one guilty of taking graphene talk at face value from the masses out there that don't have any.

Clearly she has no idea what graphene is in reality or what it does in products.

It tales months to get grip if the understanding UNLESS you read the right articles and realise they are correct.

So perhaps an hour or two of effort there at best and typed out that junk.

This is what Tony Web gets on about but in his case it was the experts that have called various now globally dominating products junk at the time they become aware of them.

At the moment, as has been the case for some years, software related companies are the big thing, social media, Uber, Lyft etc etc.

Technology re nano-materials is on it's path to make an entrance, at some point it will have the same investor interest as all the other hot sectors over the years.

They will start to take notice when it starts to appear with global companies. I say take notice, but it will be a WTF is graphene for most. They won't be saying it's just hype, as global companies will be using it and crowing about the gains to create revenue.

Robin Klein is a good example, I checked him out a while back. Never heard of him? He invests in the digital age and has done for some time. So will many others the vast majority do.

The nano tech age will come and it will bring with them some seriously HNW individuals, masses of them.

Just an example

So when do you / others think there'll be more buyers than sellers sufficient to lift the price above 130 ? - basically forever.MMS get asynchronous demands from brokers who get orders from people and institutions so I think the question is fair .
