01/8/2019 09:09 | So susceptible in non RNS zones. That will change as the finance thrives. | alchemy
01/8/2019 09:05 | on the same subject...they don't credit vrs shareholders with having any credible iq but at the end of the day you only need half a brain cell to see through them ! | jointer13
01/8/2019 08:56 | mike, great post on TW/LM but I would add the following. As said the accounts speak for themselves and if VRS was just a simple engineering company I would not have bought into it. Yet, as most of us know, Versarien is not just an engineering company with a mature business. The commercialisation of graphene is new to the world. Like all cutting edge technology, it takes months and years to fully develop. Examples are chip manufacturing the iPhone. Some of the companies involved had sky high valuations based on prospective future earnings. I put Versarien in the same camp but I would not say that £200m is sky high. The progress which the company has made is nothing short of outstanding and I expect that sizeable commercial contracts will arrive soon. My disagreement with TW is that he is a waffling liar with a personal agenda. His past financial and commercial history speaks for itself. With respect to the opinions of LM, he has either flagrantly ignored the success of VRS in developing commercial graphene which was recently confirmed as the 1st company in the world to complete the Graphene Council "Verified Graphene Producer" programme and so far still is the only company in the world to achieve it or he has not fully researched graphene. This tells me that his opinions on VRS should not be given much credence. | phoenixs
01/8/2019 08:40 | Don’t know if this has been posted before, but good to see the young team at Total Carbide winning with ROCKETS. Good to know they are embedded in the UK Space Cluster at Westcott Venture Park, another shrewd move by NR. | shavian
01/8/2019 08:39 | Just seen BIDS mentioned hmmm. Unfortunately I have a couple to my name. An LTH of Tecteon/BMR, fleeced, excuse alzheimer's, although managed some self satisfying complex transactions with family and friends. Next Chair managed to pass on $$$$ of assets to a willing party after falling victim to a Zimbabwean Finance scam followed hot on its heels by a Zambian cultural exercise in facilitation to finish the financial deep clean. GDL mmm made a few bob and had a few discussions with SG.SG was spot on and that voice in my ear helped me see the Rabbit, Harvey, lol thanks SG. Crown, any one remember those bogus transactions. Made a killing on that, £6k in a day, lucky, saw it coming and in and out in a couple of hours. Then the ones I missed through the early sell. Sporting Bet, before it went wrong. Autonomy, before the HP deal. The Russian Oily, was it Imperial £1 to take out at £15. There are a few more. See them before the others, like the business and get frustrated as it never happens overnight, with a good growth story. This is my favourite and wiser in years I'm having my final fling with VRS. Hopefully passing something on that leaves a sweet legacy and that wish I'd had Apple as a pip feeling but keeping and growing an orchard. | fireball xl5
01/8/2019 08:07 | The trouble with those demands is that it's a new sector. Why would someone stump up millions when they don't know if it will work or not. Don't forget these big names have been shafted by plenty in the sector with false claims. I pointed it out some time back re Hexcel. Although it's not obvious big names have been looking for nano material answers before VRS came to the market. 2013 Hexcel comments. A sceptical phase after limited positive results Hexcel now asks for evidence before evaluation Many claims are made for these materials Little objective repeatable data is available Their potential has sometimes been over-inflated Hexcel&rsquo To retain an open mind To seek clear repeatable data that shows a cost effective benefit from the nanomaterial To utilise these benefits in product development as fast as possible I sent the details to VRS re the last line to call their bluff. Hexcel had a look years ago and ended up with the junk to test and false claims so they became highly skeptical. This happened worldwide with many large companies, they were fed graphite junk sold as graphene and of course it didn't work. There are many science papers showing the poor results using junk. That is why when VRS produced something real that does work the big names have come knocking on the door and subsequently assisted by the DIT. | superg1
01/8/2019 08:06 | You are bang on. I also can give you hundreds of examples. You have to be as sharp as a razor as a PI on AIM or don't dabble.Crooks- correct wording! | soilderboy
01/8/2019 07:47 | Not sure but I think Scrutable posted this on the wrong board. SCRUTABLE31 Jul '19 - 22:58 - 26287 of 26287 0 1 0 Another small high tech company gets its first collaboration and gets £5m cash to begin the deal. This is the lowest such lump sum start-up I have see. Some have been as high as £50m + milestones + royalties. I will continue to post such examples as I come across new ones to encourage VRS to be less timid and more demanding when beginning new ones.My favourites this year have been CWR and OXB, who have each solved development cashflow needs, this year.. | elbillo

01/8/2019 00:34 | Germanicus. I have been posting and researching at the same rate for a decade. I have been through the nomad and company contact many times. Tyratech is one that sticks in my mind re uuumm errr we’ll call you back, chairman will call you blah blah blah. AGM Please come in to talk to us chief financial officer IP group will chat. Haydale No there are no redundancies all is well. Avanti City fraud squad called there re III and Avanti control of BBs, oh boy did they destroy some PIs there. PRG plenty here know that one. FUM lies, ditto as above. HNR, Falanx, Obt, RB, Northcote and dozens of others. Not one share in 10 years which has a bad smell about it has succeeded. The AIM is a BOD crooks paradise. Treat them all as a fraud until proved otherwise. If newcomers have forecasts then GTF out before reality hits as the market will F PIs over. share price collapse and speeding fines on fund raises. | superg1

01/8/2019 00:08 | WTF!?!? Slow down SG, there's two prizes!:)) G;) | germanicus
31/7/2019 23:05 | Me “ What does it mean, higher than forecast or lower than forecast” Nomad “Well it seems obvious” Me “ Yes I agree, lower than forecast as you state more of a marked weighting to H2 than anticipated” Nomad “ I can’t comment” Me “What do you mean you can’t comment, you released it, I’m telling you investors are confused, what does it mean, YOU signed it off, you must surely know what it means” Nomad “Uuuum, errrrr, I’ll get someone to call you, I can’t say if I agree with you or not” Me “ Yeah right of course you will”. So I put the points in writing, so if turns out investors have been misled they now have a claim option against the nomad IF there should have been a warning re missed revenue forecasts” The company have not commented either. Typical behaviour of those with info that they don’t want the market to know. Gla with that one. Would NR and co reply, abso anley lutely | superg1
31/7/2019 23:00 | Don't superg, the shorters will be all over it BIDS is only valued at £80 mill at the moment and it has... umm... errr , anyway thanks for sharing parsons glad you thought that was an absolute necessity and good luck with ahem the others. | luckyorange
31/7/2019 22:53 | Bids and Evr, he’ll need more than luck. The Bids nomad on the phone has refused to say what is meant by more of a marked change in revenue H2 stacked etc. Even though it’s in news that the person I was speaking to signed off. Refused to say if it means more H1 than forecast or less. So there you have it a nomad refusing to clarify what they signed and released publicly. Noted and recorded in comms in writing to those that signed it ready for an FCA file if it’s what I think. | superg1
31/7/2019 22:34 | Fair enough - Good luck parsons4 with BIDS and EVR | mikebrenner

31/7/2019 22:12 | Well I have been a fan from the beginning but have been reducing all the way down. I have met Neil several times and Superg1 and others in Manchester but I am also a TW subscriber and have just listened to Lucien Miers (who I have also met) I must say I am going off this company, I will stick with my 80% reduced holding but I would not bet the house on it at this valuation. all IMHO GLA !! | parsons4 |
