Great balanced ‘State of the Nation’ post by MB - maybe you could write the next one for POTUS!

Regarding the quality of the share register, the fact there are no traditional mainstream IIs on board to lend shares to shorters is because it isn’t their kind of investment yet. The Heralds and Mitons have played their role, taken their profits and VRS is now in the no man’s land delivery phase before the next level of II becomes interested.

I do think those PIs who are ‘all in’ or very overweight need to review their situation if VRS doesn’t work out as nothing is bullet proof. VRS is my largest investment btw.

VRS is still a VC mentality investment, which may sound counterintuitive given it’s been listed for 6 years, but there is a long lead time for this kind of revolutionary industry sector and it won’t be too long before we get an idea of progress and develops a more mainstream investor appeal.

There are a lot of headless chicken PIs in the stock market but it appears that the quality of the VRS share register is well above average and the few PIs I know invested here are extremely aware of investment risk/reward metrics. When I mentioned I was invested in VRS I actually tried to gently put them off in case things don’t work out! Lots of DYOR AIMHO etc.....

I understand some of the scepticism about preprofit ‘story’ companies but VRS have gone far beyond the market standards to keep all informed about the stepping stones to success and for that they should be lauded.

AIMHO etc

I was going to sell them after twoo and a half years. I have a fortune in them and was going to blow.Just topped up again today. Sitting tight still here. Come on VRS.

I don't say much on here despite this now being a top 5 investment for me but Mike, that was the best post on this BB by miles. Well done and much appreciated. It seems obvious to me that the next step in the VRS story has to be commercial orders for use in marketable end user products.Until that comes about the business is unproven (but with the potential obvious all us investors).Like Mike I find some of the stuff on here 'hilarious' - hands up how many people think VRS will be a major issue in the next US presidential elections?Good luck to all holders here - but remember that building a business is difficult and complex, especially in a revolutionary new sector. Nothing is guaranteed.CM

I don't think we should criticise how others choose to follow and support the story. Everyone has their own way which wont suit everyone. I'm sure there are some that are disgusted by my cartoons, others that hate seeing vaguely related articles and others that aren't too fussed about posts describing the detailed science of the anatomy of graphene. We should accept all and choose to read what we find helpful and enjoyable.

Mike, regarding your final point, dare I say that I feel you are missing the point that many of us are trying to make? We are not for one second suggesting that VRS are involved in all things graphene.

Spreading the word about graphene will raise public and more importantly commercial interest and make businesses aware that graphene is no longer stuck in a little pot on the benches of M/C uni.

Versarien is quite simple really. We don't chase the cosmetic applications like a golf ball or a tennis racquet as there is plenty of space for the also rams to enjoy some success. We focus on the things that will make a difference and at scale. If you want to listen to TW and avoid at all costs then do so and I'd also suggest you turn off any tickets to the stock and don't look on the forums to see how it's going as you will undoubtedly kick yourself and realise you were misled by TW. If you do have an interest then research yourself and start with a look at the RNS that have been released over the last 3 years as the build up and collaborations as well as the securing of the supply chain has started to come to bear fruit. If you look at the trees in the orchard you will see the Versarien tree, the TW tree and graphene like treeThe graphene like tree contains fruit that looks like one thing sounds like one thing and isn't actually eitherThe TW tree well it bears very little scruffy fruit that are unappealing have no real use and will undoubtedly leave a very bitter taste in your mouth and is consistent with sour grapesThen there's the Versarien tree, admittedly it's grower and the one all the other trees are looking at and comparing themselves to. The fruit hasn't been as large as some would want but that's as it's being reinvested into growing and is already in the process of sorting out its global distribution. The fruit is M&S and Waitrose quality in its lowest form but a quality you can trust. The fruit is used to compliment other ingredients and will in the very near future be seen as the master chef ingredient to be seen to use as it does what it says on the tin.Choose your tree and your orchard and imho the Versarien one is the one to be in I know knooothing Pa I rambled a bit but you get my drift

TW just sounds like a boring accountant who constantly says "Show me the money" and has no imagination or vision for anything. A totally glass-half full personality with a blinkered attitude. Best ignored.

I've also noted the change of narrative over the past few months from our Winni, as evidenced in his latest bilecast. There is no more 'this is going down to 60p' instead he states he doesn't know where the share price will go, it could easily double from here. His words not mine. The shorters he coaxed in must be really pleased with that... oooff!
