roger/nemo - I stand corrected on the 'dozen employees' reference re seesaw and have amended my earlier post accordingly. It did strike me as odd that so many would be tied up on it, so I guess I mis-heard (My ears are not what they used to be) (They are still ears, but they don't hear much, so I rely in part on lipreading - which kinda doesn't work with audio podcasts ;-)

Has anyone any idea when we might know if we have been successful and won a tour round the chocolate factory.

The web is great place to roam to find destinations.

As far as I'm concerned a step change is coming, the lull (if we can call it that) is coming to an end.

When the bigger deals start to unfold and turn into revenue that will attract the bigger investors. Many are standing on the sideline waiting for the promise to start to turn into orders.

It's all been spelt out repeatedly by VRS.

I could get some theories if the news had detail in it, without detail it suggests confidentiality.

They are surely not going to showcase the production technology, but the result of the use of such technology.

I don't think such an event with government and industry present is to look at some graphene enhanced plastic pellets in pots, a bit of cloth and with Sam trying to dodge the difficult questions.

The RNS per day figure is now ahead of the first half of the year by leagues. There'll be at least one tomorrow! But it won't be about Johnny having a new master , not us lot having a penny a day.Any tipping points to be irreversible. Please. Off to trim a hedge, no hidden message , a real one. Gla

I'm guessing Neill put it out as an RNS simply to ensure it was seen by all investors rather than only those who use twitter.

The programme manager is in Bristol too. Government funded. Also you’d perhaps need a coat to see it in action?

Reckon I was way off, I thought seesaw was potentially new 2D material.

With regards to Project Seesaw, I noted some historical research on Carbon Nanotubes and Stodula Rotors that references "microscopic seesaw devices", so might be worth some more investigation from those that enjoy researching info on the web. I also found some references to Seesaw rotor blades used in aerospace, that could perhaps be related to electric plane developments, many of which will be propeller based

Whatever see saw relates to, good times are coming - the collaborations are due to come to fruition. I recall Neill once saying that his worst nightmare would be orders from all of the collaborations in one go. What a great position to be in.

Seesaw took me down all sorts of paths, but my first thought was the seesawing of the share price which could be fixed with a strong run of news. I'm still stuck with that idea.

Then going a bit off track, knowing NR has young children, operation seesaw the 'Save ums'.

The save ums working on an engineering point of balancing up the ants on the seesaw seeking perfect balance.

They turn up on perhaps a kids toy version of the thunderbirds.

We have 5 major targets in play hence the thunderbirds fun in recent times.

NR tweet:

It was always 12 investors nothing to do with employees working on a project either :)

Grabster - I don’t recall that? He said their would be 12 explorers invited plus 2 lucky ones or something but nothing about a dozen employees working on it? Unless of course I missed that?

Personally,I hope and think that the seesaw reference, rather than having a literal meaning, indicates a “tipping point” in the company, where we go from samples, tests and speculation and on to firm, large regular orders for production use. But then I’m just a dreamer.......

The National Composites Centre at Emersons Green, BS16, would be my guess, all the major aerospace companies are there.
