Cryptic references to 'seesaw' have been going on for weeks (months even?) - and on one occasion NR I think indicated that a dozen or more employees were working on it (which to m e sounded a bit odd - like they had time on their hands to be constructing some in-house exhibition project instead of working flat out on assorted global deals). And NR has now indicated that 24 July relates to seesaw.

EDIT: I see NR has dismissed that dozen employees reference. My mistake by the sound of it. (Sorry - quite likely I mis-heard summat, my hearing is poor)

VRS are working with the government,EG the DIT and are working with industry.

Industry and government at an event, where they can't at this time, reveal the full details, BUT to get the investors there needed an RNS.

Time to stick with the known knowns imo.

So, any such news may be released the same morning - in which case, if the company already knows that, it is not like news that has to be put out as soon as known of - more likely a date agreed with some party. (Or of course it could come sooner). So does that date tally with a scheduled Results statement from any customer we know?

(Someone care to skim through scheduled stockmarket results calendar - for UK, USA, etc)?)

So you get a ticket, you live 200 miles away. You need to know what time and where to decide re travel on the day or book a hotel the night before.

Is it 8am, 12 noon, 2pm and so on.

I don't take it as an oversight re the news. It's all deliberately excluded imo, they can't tell us just yet it seems.

The other word that stands out is why would one expect representatives from Government and Industry at an investor event, unless they perchance were already there

There is always between now and then. Could also dovetail in with some other meaningful event as industry and government expected to be there and no timings.

If it was simply an event to showcase some bits and pieces where is it and what time. The details are absent.

If it is something big then no new material information will be disclosed at the event. That would be because it would have been disclosed prior in news.

So when the golden tickets get issued, if that is very near term with no other news, will the event details be disclosed to them.

At the moment no one really knows what they are applying for when sticking their name in the hat.

Bottom line of that announcement:

"No material new information is expected to be disclosed at the event".

But one could discuss all morning whether that still allows 'unexpected' info, so it's meaningless.
