16/7/2019 09:36 | Cryptic references to 'seesaw' have been going on for weeks (months even?) - and on one occasion NR I think indicated that a dozen or more employees were working on it (which to m e sounded a bit odd - like they had time on their hands to be constructing some in-house exhibition project instead of working flat out on assorted global deals). And NR has now indicated that 24 July relates to seesaw. EDIT: I see NR has dismissed that dozen employees reference. My mistake by the sound of it. (Sorry - quite likely I mis-heard summat, my hearing is poor) | ![]() grabster
16/7/2019 09:35 | VRS are working with the government,EG the DIT and are working with industry. Industry and government at an event, where they can't at this time, reveal the full details, BUT to get the investors there needed an RNS. Time to stick with the known knowns imo. | ![]() superg1
16/7/2019 09:26 | You are the Sherlock of VRS Family Lag. | maisto
16/7/2019 09:22 | Yes sounds like a blockbuster event coming up. | ![]() amt
16/7/2019 09:21 | The thing is maybe it's old info progressed a bit? Remember this Bristol related info: | ![]() laginaneil
16/7/2019 09:14 | I didn't know we had a government? | ![]() festario
16/7/2019 09:14 | Savvy investors are putting their money where Brexit matters least, steering clear of U.K. companies or picking ones that can flourish inchaos, writes Bloomberg's Matthew Winkler.Probably a fault line running through VRS, lots of tremors to come. | ![]() fireball xl5
16/7/2019 09:12 | "If it is something big then no new material information will be disclosed at the event. That would be because it would have been disclosed prior in news." So, any such news may be released the same morning - in which case, if the company already knows that, it is not like news that has to be put out as soon as known of - more likely a date agreed with some party. (Or of course it could come sooner). So does that date tally with a scheduled Results statement from any customer we know? (Someone care to skim through scheduled stockmarket results calendar - for UK, USA, etc)?) | ![]() grabster
16/7/2019 09:10 | I'm 440 or so miles from Bristol and unfortunately (again, Grr) I won't be able to try to go. There will be another time I'm sure. Good luck all, for the tickets. | ![]() scottishfield
16/7/2019 09:08 | I think that's right superg1. Neill is being as inclusive as he can, for his PI's at the moment. Details later. | ![]() scottishfield
16/7/2019 09:06 | We will see if it is released with results tomorrow. I also got the impression Neill is very confident on china "we look forward to updating our shareholders" on last podcast. Surely looking likely now imo. | ilikegraphene
16/7/2019 09:04 | So you get a ticket, you live 200 miles away. You need to know what time and where to decide re travel on the day or book a hotel the night before. Is it 8am, 12 noon, 2pm and so on. I don't take it as an oversight re the news. It's all deliberately excluded imo, they can't tell us just yet it seems. | ![]() superg1
16/7/2019 09:03 | Probably the best cloak and dagger RNS issued, is there a Carlsberg there. | ![]() fireball xl5
16/7/2019 09:03 | Would like to know if it's OUR govt reps. Or if this is a wider graphene related announcement involving the govt | ilikegraphene
16/7/2019 09:01 | The other word that stands out is why would one expect representatives from Government and Industry at an investor event, unless they perchance were already there | ![]() fireball xl5
16/7/2019 08:58 | And no I haven't had a synchronized swim with SG lol | ![]() fireball xl5
16/7/2019 08:57 | There is always between now and then. Could also dovetail in with some other meaningful event as industry and government expected to be there and no timings. | ![]() fireball xl5
16/7/2019 08:56 | If it was simply an event to showcase some bits and pieces where is it and what time. The details are absent. If it is something big then no new material information will be disclosed at the event. That would be because it would have been disclosed prior in news. So when the golden tickets get issued, if that is very near term with no other news, will the event details be disclosed to them. At the moment no one really knows what they are applying for when sticking their name in the hat. | ![]() superg1
16/7/2019 08:56 | Information could be announced tomorow or prior to the event then it won't be 'new' | ![]() iofra
16/7/2019 08:56 | Material new information released before the event will be discussed in extensio. That's what we look forward to eh ? Rgds | ![]() alchemy
16/7/2019 08:54 | How about a UK Space port announcement !! | ![]() laginaneil
16/7/2019 08:53 | We will know soon enough. | ![]() johnveals
16/7/2019 08:52 | What about material old information being reiterated? | ![]() johnveals
16/7/2019 08:50 | Bottom line of that announcement: "No material new information is expected to be disclosed at the event". But one could discuss all morning whether that still allows 'unexpected' info, so it's meaningless. | ![]() axotyl
16/7/2019 08:49 | Morning Folks, 'Bristol has one of the largest clusters of aerospace and firms in Europe..' | ![]() laginaneil |
