Hopefully the spike in volume caused by the news has at least given the relentless seller the opportunity to finish! I make it nearly 500k of round number sells over the past week or so! Wonder who it could be? Thought most of the instis were already out?

PS: Some of the branded containers they show in their website banner are names we in the UK might not instantly recognize -- but I spy a McDonalds product among them

On May 30th last year (almost a year to the day), VRS announced a packaging collaboration with a major international company which has multiple plants across Europe. If they haven't managed to produce anything commercially useful, I don't see how a tiny US company will.

Just because they aren't a huge company now doesn't mean that this won't propel them in that direction. If they can move faster than the big boys they can corner a larger part of the market.

BP Polymers and CKS not among the biggest players in their field - but those companies that are will be looking into what it is these players are now doing..

Plastics industry journals worldwide will pick up the story.


Meanwhile anyone glancing at Versarien anew will see the story filed as "Versarien PLC Collaboration Agreement with BP Polymers" and will make the same mistaken assumption as many of us momentarily did - that it relates to oil giant BP !
