Hi Ellis,

I don't think VRS are looking at Barrier Plastics and their plastic converter relationships purely as a go to market with end brands - that will likely happen as a welcome spill over as the market grows.

I believe that the speed of progress is being driven by finding a solution to a bigger problem for a large end client that they have been working with in this space Once tested and proven to be able to be delivered at commercial quantities and scale, then VRS can license this solution to that companies supply / manufacturing chain e.g. Graphinks Kortrax to other plastic converters to add to their manufacturing process to solve this packaging problem e.g. we have worked out that these guys do outsourced manufacturing of the big consumer goods companies brands. The Luxus and global chemical major collabs all fit this strategy of building out a graphene enhanced polymer supply chain for different packaging applications for this same end client who really cares about package recycling, reducing plastic usage etc ....

Joining the dots, you can see this to my mind. Latest bpl product which vrs are working with was launched in jan 19 - suggesting the company would be the sole manufacturer. As i posted yesterday, cks have a relationship with bpl to manufacture the previous product to this. Grabster helpfully suggested cks already have relationships with coca cola and mcdonalds etc. Which suggests cks would probably like to be involved in producing/marketing the latest product and also a vrs graphene enhanced product. Per twitter, #dynamo suggested this collab is of interest to a major client of bpl atm with 'expandables' in mind. But per rns - licences also proposed. I imagine there is some meat in there, to warrant a reg rns? We already know vrs had produced sample graphene enhanced plastic bottles at this time last year per poddy and have packaging collabs in play. Lots of testing data and knowledge in is the bank here. And with brexit still a massive headwind, overseas and in this case usa gives the company and holders plenty of options. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis

Top notch mikeb. One can appreciate the vrs strategy in full. At the leading edge of industry standards and exceeding where possible. Providing eco/recyling solutions to demand to meet recommended standards. Especially where dumping unrecyclable plastics into the 3rd world and china etc is a ever increasing reality for companies. Recycling locally becomes an urgent need therefore ? Aimo. Best ellis

Malaysia orders tonnes of imported waste to be returned

'Malaysia has ordered several thousand tonnes of imported plastic waste to be sent back to the countries it came from.'

"The country's government says it has become a dumping ground for wealthier nations and that much of the refuse was imported illegally."

I seem to remember a while back that philbyk1 said he had registered names 1-20. So I just keep filtering each one as the new name avoids the filter list but it is the same person

Roger that Mike. Those who take time to review what is being built here rather than the preoccupation of getting a deal, will appreciate the vast opportunity and value in their investment.

Do you really want the team to stop sowing the field to give you an ear of corn now causing them to miss next year’s harvest? And just so you can chew on a cob to feed you impatient hunger pang? Wait for the harvest and enjoy the feast when it arrives.

Hi Diversification,

FGR disclosed that they applied for NICNAS regulatory approval on the 11th of Feb 2019, at the time the share price was 14.5c, gaining the approval was IMO already priced into the SP,

As you will know, Today's share price is 24.5c, this is a 68% increase, Majority of the gains have occurred since First Graphene Attended the NGA's American Graphene Summit, I mentioned this before that Andy Goodwin and Warwick Grigor were presenting, The Americans must have loved Andy's presentation.

Getting back to NICNAS approval, FGR is the only graphene company in the world who is allowed to sell commercial quantities of Graphene, Neill Tweeted the other day that he plans on selling graphene in Australia, Without NICNAS VRS can only sell 100grams per year. I cannot see this being viable.

Anyway, the big movement with FGR will be in the coming weeks, they have 7 days to wait until the NICNAS approval is fully granted, then FGR can start signing the 18-20 tonnes pa of graphene sales in 2019 that they have lined up with prospective customers

I would have like you and money other of your VRS shareholders to join in on the FGR journey, I will keep you all updated on the progress, Most likely next week when the first sales announcements are secured.

Philbyk15 - Never been overly impressed with your research and your forceful comments which may be misleading for other investors who look at this thread.

Its clear that VRS are building out a graphene additive supply chain to support packaging converters existing manufacturing processes and new package applications for some large end customers who really care about recycling, circular economy etc ...

Kortrax is a barrier resin layer that goes on the inside of HDPE plastic containers ... the latter will make up the majority of the containers weight (commodity product to your point) but for those applications where you may want to be able to use say recycled plastics which they can't today (too permeable), or help food last longer by blocking certain gases, or have better sensor indicators when food has gone off Vs best before dates which leads to food waste (A very big problem!) etc ... then their is a high margin value add for a mono-layer barrier resin technology like Kortrax with VRS graphene additives ... multi function is the key.

BTW note this isn't new, Dupont and others do this but their barrier resins like Selar which have different (and you could argue less exciting) properties and are added as part of a packaging converters manufacturers process. e.g. Film processing for cheese

... and if you had really looked into this there was an interesting collaboration update that was provided at the GEIC for a Global Chemical Major (for the life of me can't work out who this is) – Testing agreed for film application with Inks at the WMG.

Suggest to folks that we don't bother with a guessing game as to who are or are not in the 5 focused commercial deals (AECOM, textlies and Chinese domestic application are all NR has confirmed so far), focus on understanding the biz plan, the global strategy / sales process / infrastructure & supply chain required to deliver graphene products at scale for partners and use that to measure success. These are the building blocks that lead to large commercial orders ... tangible progress has been made in 2019!

Over & out

Spid's probably a bit feisty because FGR got NICNAS approval but feels the need to celebrate that achievement by needling VRS. How sad.

If only FGR were an approved graphene producer though. Ah well.

NICNAS did a lot less for the share price than many had expected today. Comparative market cap still pales into insignificance. Bitter sweet!

One or two on here trying to massage the share price down for their own reasons. Spid filtered "I was a little shocked to see how tiny BP's revenues are"
From tiny acorns? Remember what Neill said about small companies being much faster to adapt and get product to market.
