01/4/2019 10:30 | Better hope it's an April Fool! The World Mountain Running Association Chairman, Jonathan Wyatt, has just announced that the WMRA are to ban the Innov8 Graphene Mudclaws from mountain running competitions. They will make a formal announcement on their website at the end of the week, to this effect The seven member council apparently have based their decision on two factors: The Graphene layer on the sole is so ‘sticky’ that paths and hillsides are being eroded at an increasing rate, due to the shoes picking up and transporting mud, as the competitor both ascends and descends the course. Studies by the University of Geneva have found that, on balance, about 70% more is transported down the course. The WMRA consider this unacceptable and, in spite of representation from Innov8, the ban will come into force on May 1st. All relevant national governing bodies will be obliged to comply. Secondly, the WMRA consider that, although green, the colour is offensive to the eye, and does not have a place in the low key, off-the-radar sport of fell and mountain running. Further, they are to discuss hi-viz clothing for the same reasons, although a decision on this will not be made until June. | ![]() edmondj
01/4/2019 10:28 | Good Morning Zagrofold, Considering VRS was selected to be the graphene councils launch client in July 2018, How is it was it possible for FGR or any other graphene company to go first? | ![]() spid81

01/4/2019 10:11 | The first day of Versarien's 2019-20 trading year, and they hit the ground running; what a way to start! Sourfaced detractors are going to have to pedal even harder in their futile struggle, poor dears. | ![]() grabster
01/4/2019 10:08 | an absolutely outstanding achievement Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that the Company is the first graphene company in the world to successfully complete the Graphene Council's "Verified Graphene Producer" programme (the "Programme"). The US-based Graphene Council's Programme is an independent, third party verification system that involves a physical inspection of the production facilities, a review of the entire production process, a random sampling of product material and rigorous characterisation and testing by a leading, international materials laboratory. The Programme is based on the most recent developments in globally recognised graphene standards, surveys of graphene producers, researchers and users, as well as analysis of commercially available graphene products. | ![]() jointer13
01/4/2019 10:05 | Neill just tweeted "Imagine having the only verified new material in the world" Puts it into perspective. Brand new science that could change almost everything in the world for the better and VRS are at the forefront. What price an IPO now? | ![]() zagrosfold

01/4/2019 09:56 | All coming along nicely. The pot just starting to come up to boiling point. First up, and very important, the news today comes before the graphene summit on capitol Hill with the senate in attendance, VRS there. That event is in May. Patrick won't need any encouragement re that news, I suspect NR has the lasso out on standby. Next up the funds. My hope was the bigger news started to hit when the funds are out. Miton, in theory, if they followed what they have done in the last few months, are now out. Two reasons there, one that they can't supply the MMs on news and two that they miss out on potentially much bigger rises. Data on whether Miton are out or not should be available in the next week or so. | ![]() superg1

01/4/2019 09:31 | Indeed SG. It was May 2015 that we were invited to visit VRS as potential investors. Neill explained he thought he had something special but didn't want to shout from the houses about it-as others were at the time. He developed the graphene side under the radar and only went public when he was 100% confident. I, like quite a few others, was able to take advantage of the Lombard Odier firesale 19 months ago. It feels as if VRS are tantalizingly close to securing a major long term contract. Think it is going to be a very interesting quarter! superg1 Apr '19 - 08:47 - 65371 of 65380 0 9 0 Chill not a bad call eh! all that time ago a few of us looking deeply into and coming to the conclusion that VRS are up front in the graphene world yet the market has missed it. But most importantly a great team behind it. | ![]() chillpill
01/4/2019 09:30 | In light of today’s news If I have a product and I claim there it is Graphene enhanced can I be challenged if it’s not Graphene from Versarien? | vitrec
01/4/2019 09:19 | Rainbow - laws of averages dictate that you sometimes make the right call regards the red end to a day. However I feel you are on a hiding to nothing with this one. Investors both current and prospective are having any doubts in the products or company systematically removed which will render any comments you make to that effect even more meaningless than they are now. Perhaps a time for you to reflect and change tactics? | ![]() billwave
