I have just been re-reading the rns from 4.02.19 and suggest that others do the same. I think that we were expecting a tie up with Tunghsu or AECOM news,so we were disappointed with the rns. A little like expecting apples and receiving pears.

However, Canaccord would not have delivered the rns unless they thought it of real importance. Remember we have had more vague but immensely positive announcements that have not been deemed rns worthy.

The Chinese have now stated that Nanene is the real deal and now with the testing facilities and partner laboratories now at our disposal, I expect a pretty rapid commercialisation of our IP.

This rns goes into far more detail about products and the market segments that are under development. A vast array including inks and probably boron nitride.

Specific projects with the various provences and companies are under way. So we probably have 30+ partners all progressing. Providing we do not send any more aircraft carriers to Chinese waters, I am hoping for some mega news pretty quickly.

Magic beans - that was 3 months ago. Since then nothing but a change of nomad and more or less regurgitated old news. Still huge amounts of potential but still no update on the 3T machine, no confirmation of any real orders. ISO was imminent almost a year ago and big things have been just around the corner ever since. I'd been buying on the lows all the way down from 190. Look at the share price now, I can't be the only one beginning to wonder. Of course the right news could allay any doubts I have and I will indeed be scrambling to get back in. Until then I will continue to watch and wait. Regards.

Morning Luckykid,

After reading how many investors have invested their whole life savings / large % of their net wealth in VRS, I thought it would be appropriate to provide information for them to make an informed investment decision. No where have I suggested that VRS do not make graphene or any other bogus claims like Superg1 / Graham does.

FYI, FGR do have companies outside of Australia testing its Graphene,
Don't you think its a little silly for them to have REACH approval to sell upto 10t of graphene with no customers in Europe?

You are more than welcome to comment on Hotcopper about FGR, I am more than happy to provide the details to the information you request,

Sorry Fest, but you have crashed through the logic barrier. If the CEO of a company I have invested 95% of my net worth offers me the chance to direct my questions and worries to him and says he will respond, there is no way I would not take that offer. The fact that you prefer to keep seeking answers here on this BB instead, speaks volumes. We are all but a bunch of PIs. What the hell do we know, compared to Neill? All we will reply to you with, no matter how honest and genuine we are, will be observations, opinions, 2nd or even 3rd hand information and some general knowledge on the vague subjects. What on earth makes you think this is the better option rather having a dialogue with Neill? There is no logic to your arguments. When directed a similar question to you earlier, you said 'what about the rest of the people, they have a right to know the answers'. If you genuinely cared for the rest of the people on here, you would ask your questions to Neill, see his answers, ask him permission to post it on here and voila. But no, you prefer to publicly talk down the share you supposedly own a million of and spread fear to some already nervous holders. I see two options. Either you sold quite a bit of your holdings (while you were claiming you can't sell any - and we could all get quotes for selling serious numbers of shares) and you're looking for a cheaper entry point while thrashing the company and Neill's integrity. Or you have completely lost your rationale for the sake and pleasure of attention seeking. Both are equally bad imo. I never thought I would say this but I will stop interacting with you from now on. My dad tought me not to argue with irrational people (at best) because you will lose time and gain nothing. I now see why you and CS got on so well from the very beginning.

Lucky - spid doesn’t sound quite as desperate as Graham, with his increasingly frantic claims of huge (sorry, HUGE) deals on the way. 3 deals. No, wait, 5 deals! Collectively worth £50m. No, wait, £500m! No, wait, £BILLIONS!

In the last Half VRS turned over £5.22m. Growth of 19% in that Half - not too shabby at all, but hardly explosive.

Spid I used have some respect for your posts, but recently they have become more desperate and I presume bitter due to the fact your beloved FGR world leaders in graphene don't seem to be able to get away from buckets and spades and toecaps for boots and you just can't understand whyFGR don't seem to realise there other countries in the world other than Australia.Might join hot copper for a laugh to start posting negatively on there about FGR. And there is lots to be negative about especially money requirements.

Good Morning All, I hope you all have had a good weekend,

I have been doing a little research on Tunghsu,GEIC's 4th partner and collaboration partner with VRS

Interesting that they have a graphene battery that was expected to hit the market in September 2016, Yes 2016. a blog by (earthdas) suggested Dongxu G-King battery has been presented but never brought to market due to high costs of graphene.

I was very surprised after reading the VRS RNS that they had not provided graphene for testing. I was also surprised with how little Tungshu commented on the VRS collaboration agreement,

"During this visit to the UK, Tunghsu Optoelectronics was also invited by Versarien plc, a leading British graphene company, to visit its achievements in the industrial application of graphene, and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. In the future, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in the preparation of high-quality graphene materials, photoelectric display materials, new energy vehicles, LED lighting systems, graphene thermal management materials and flexible batteries. At the same time, the two sides will be each other's business fulcrum in Asia-Pacific and Europe, sharing the experience of graphene industrialization application."

Source :

I suspect that Tunghsu signed the MOU with VRS to gain access to GEIC due to VRS having a Tier One Partnership, majority of the Tunghsu announcement focused on the signing of a deal with the Univeristy of Manchester, Now that Tunghsu has its own partnership as GEIC it will be very interesting to see if you hear from Tunghsu again.

In contrast the following is the announcement from Tungsu about them joining GEIC as a tier one partner,

Tunghsu's research boosted in deal with UK innovation center
发布102;间:2019-01-31SourceA306;
Tunghsu Optoelectronic, one of China's pioneers in the graphene industry, signed a membership agreement in Beijing on Thursday with the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre at the University of Manchester.

The Beijing-headquartered company has thus become GEIC's first partner in China - and only the fourth worldwide - to gain tier-one membership, according to the institute, which is based in the United Kingdom. GEIC has announced that it plans to limit its tier-one membership to 12.

The collaboration has set a shining example for Sino-UK exchanges between industry and academia, said Feng Weidong, vice-president of Tunghsu Optoelectronic.

Wang Lipeng, chairman of the company, said the graphene industry is still in its infancy. The partnership between the world's top research institution focused on graphene engineering and the Chinese leader in the sector will advance the industrialization of related technologies.

GEIC, which officially opened in December 2018, focuses on multifaceted industry-led applications to complement the UK National Graphene Institute's international research and expand the commercial impact of the new material.

Professors Andre Geim and Kostya Novoselov at the University of Manchester won the Nobel Prize in physics in 2010 "for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene", enabling the university to become a pinnacle of world research into the frontier material.

Granted the GEIC's top-level membership, Tunghsu Optoelectronic can make full use of the state-of-the-art facilities at the engineering innovation center for its own research and development.

In addition, the company said it has a seat on the GEIC Technology Advisory Board. The status enables the company to be briefed on the latest research from the innovation center, have opportunities to invest in its research projects and vote on GEIC's future developments.

The company's graphene business development plan and technological innovation revolve around graphene's industrial applications, which dovetail with GEIC's goal of accelerating the industrialization of graphene technologies and its needs for proximity to the market, James Baker, CEO of Graphene@Manchester, which includes GEIC and NGI, said at the signing ceremony.

By January, Tunghsu Optoelectronic had filed more than 190 patent applications related to graphene, including 13 international filings via the Patent Cooperation Treaty. Nearly 60 of the applications have been granted, according to the company.

The company said that graphene materials production, new energy materials, inks and coatings will be the focus of the cooperation between the two parties.

Exploration in the frontier fields and incubation of new products with technological prospects and market potential are also listed on their agenda.

Data from the Jiangnan Graphene Research Institute showed that by the end of 2017, approximately 61 percent of all graphene-related patent filings worldwide were from China, enabling the country to become the largest filer in the field, followed by the United States and South Korea.

Yet most of the Chinese filings were targeted at the domestic market, according to a report on the industry released by the China Economic Information Service. Despite the growth in overseas patent applications by Chinese filers in recent years, the majority of them have chosen the United States as their destination.

Industrial experts suggested Chinese graphene businesses expand their patent portfolio and formulate an integral IP development plan with diverse overseas destinations, in a bid to gain a strong foothold in international competition.

Harrysol

I could post extensively about the mass of interest and potentially huge ( I mean HUGE) deals pending.

However, I am after 10 years used to many PIs making false claims.

They will profess to stand together and will not yield right up until a crisp packet pops, one says “ was that a gun” then they run away.

No telling ‘em, let them run.
