I'll leave it for them to look up but I mentioned and named the guy recently as working for VRS.

Are you on about SN again.

The guy spends his entire time trying to stir things up with lies and misleading comments hence I filtered him long ago.

He seems to thrive on such engagement.

Bit on the point raised the guy that set it up moved over to VRS.

I fully agree in playing the ball and not the man so I've had a quick shooftie at the DV Composities JV formed in November 2014 and discover by looking at the accounts for 2015 that the JV was effectively dissolved on 24 September 2015 when the 49.1% holding by the Israeli-based company was transferred to Versarien (see Page 9 of the accounts) and the Directors from Dimar resigned at the same time. The 'JV' itself cost around £20k in expenses before tax and does not seem to have got off the ground for reasons unknown to me.

As I'm sure you know Supernumerary, these kind of JVs happen all the time with companies and this one lasted all of 10 months and cost before tax around £20k - ie the setting up and allied expenses. Big deal!

So if you are going to rake up old news Supernumerary, best to give the whole picture rather than try to give a misleading impression of something 'underhand'. Otherwise - to extend your footie analogy - some may see you as 'diving' in the penalty area to try and get something to your own advantage :-)

18 and 20 do look like resistance but I think given the obvious potential and the recent buyers strike owing to perceived overhang it could get through that quite quickly should the right news drop. That is why I think the time is ripe for Versarien to drop even RNS-Reach type announcements because I don't think it will take much to get this going. It's obviously been held down artificially by the antics of traders.

No problems with the ball being played supernum but no need to telegraph it eh?

Chart looking ok stig just got to move through the even numbers, what are your thoughts other than the 18 resistance then support?

That's funny - I've been tracking one of VRS's joint ventures ;¬) Anybody remember 'DV Composites'? Just in case you've forgotten, here it is:

-------------

'Joint Venture with Dimar Ltd to form DV Composites Ltd

Versarien Plc (AIM:VRS), the advanced engineering materials group, is pleased to announce that it has agreed terms to form a 50:50 joint venture with Dimar Limited ("Dimar"), a leading global tungsten carbide tool manufacturer based in Israel, to distribute a new range of tooling for the composites industry.
[...]
Neill Ricketts, Chief Executive Officer of Versarien, commented: "This joint venture has provided the Group with a fantastic opportunity to combine several of our key technologies with those of Dimar, for the fast growing composites industry.

"Given the breadth of Versarien, we will be able to draw upon our significant expertise in graphene, tungsten carbide incorporating VersarienCu from an InnovateUK grant and this coupled with Dimar's extensive customer base and experience in the market, creates a robust platform for the launch of DV Composites. It also provides the Group with an excellent entry point into the Israeli composite industry through our close collaboration with Dimar."'

-------------

It's actually not that easy to track, because, believe it or not, vrs got the name of its own company wrong - maybe Mr Ricketts was partying a bit too much the night before? It actually ended up being called DV Composite Tools Ltd and here you are, its latest returns etc:

As sg would say - 'it doesn't look pretty'.

Surprising that vrs didn't think it worth mentioning to shareholders; I expect they wanted to but that pesky Nomad stopped it :¬(

lucky - never forget the Nomad is paid by the company. Is it surprising that sometimes they say what the company wants rather than what they really should? Ask sg's opinion on Nomads and their probity ;¬)

And somebody should tell NR that it's great being the only guy at the party, just as long as there isn't someone else at home screwing your girlfriend...

No supernum, definitely required RNS's otherwise the NOMAD would have thrown it out, the RNS Reach is very specific

Both of those were significant in their own right as we will see in the near future, the CPI will be signposting to VRS and Aerospace takes years to tick the boxes before being accepted as a supplier (as does the MOD), all looks good to me.

stig,I am not blind to alternative opinions but turn away from those that are expressed with half truths about the company and its ability to commercialise the products. We shall soon see who has been right and wrong about VRS.

it is refreshing to hear someone who is so self-confident that they can admit when they don't know something rather than just blag

as supern points out RNSNON are actually called RNS Reach now and it's a class of RNS which is basically just a marketing Press Release newswire and they don't AFAIK require NOMAD sign-off because they are not deemed to be 'significant or price changing'. Of course what is deemed insignificant and not price changing to a NOMAD may be very significant to Investors if it signals say for example a PR/IR marketing push

phoenix you are simply wrong to decry supern

some of the biggest detractors can become the biggest fans e.g. Saul/Paul as the original and greatest example of a 'Damascene conversion'

personally i'm close to transitioning from sceptic to believer, i believe the stock is at a tipping point just like myself
