Tim

How much lower would their shares be if they didn't show their shareholders and potential shareholders there is a pulse?

It demonstrates a sentient management who in a week they will be presenting to US potential partners suppliers customers employees shareholders that they take their newsflow/marketing responsibility seriously and who cares about the short term share price reaction? What about commitment to building long term narrative to gain mindshare and ultimately drive value creation ?

Very difficult to buy any volume after a few large trades on Friday, should be a move up in share price here with some buying.

Lucky, I think McLaren will be far more competitive next year. I should imagine the competition will be wondering how McLaren have the improvements in such a short time.

Another RNS from Haydale with a US patent grant! Come on VRS, there must be some activity worthy of comment in an area as exciting as Graphene! It is not normal for a company on the cusp of participating in the next industrial revolution to be so moribund in real substantial news of progress. Please do not tell me big companies take a long time to make a decision. I already know that. BTW, the world is not made up of big companies alone.

Makes you wonder if it is down to the lighter stronger materials roger?

'Alonso made it clear all the progress was coming from the chassis and not from the Honda engine.'

"The engine is the same," he added. "In fact, today we have the previous engine. Yesterday we used the new engine but saved it for Brazil and Abu Dhabi.

"So all the improvements are thanks to the aero and a bit to the suspension parts we've brought over the past races."

It was good to hear Alonso stating that Mclaren had the best car in qualiffying for the Mexican F1, before grid penalties. He was very impressed with the new wing, barge board and other items brought in for today's race. Improvements with 2018 in mind.

Another article here.

Well done Nanene, with new engine for 2018, it should be interesting.

I had heard Hayd were moving away from graphene.

Not a bad thing to diversify imo just in case (eggs in one basket etc).

But on the the topic, elasticity is more prominent in many layer which experts have down to slippage between layers. Such slippage and propensity to fail for multi-layer (more weak points) is why few layer works better for strength. Then add in the factor of higher numbers of GNPs per volume etc.

John Henry, I'm liking your figures... because after all my averaging down, I'm back in profit at 16.38p.I've never been in profit on VRS I don't think.

If you think about it over 12 years on and few layer GNP commefcial capability is highly scarce.

The easy answer for big names is not to try and fathom it out over a number of years but acquire tech already proven.

Getting to few layer doesn't necessarily equate to success as the product may not work.

Samsung or sony tried re CVD and failed.

Another well known name has a method but I understand it doesn't work. More on that another time if proven.

Seems to me that the big bucks in the graphene game are going to come from patentable applications/processes - graphene by itself is likely going to be supplied at some point by 2 or 3 multinationals who will drive down costs and corner the market - vrs unique twist is its connections to academia and associated research - I wonder if the ceo has any aspirations towards acquiring top app development cos & talent - gonna have to get into bed with deeper pockets at some point to go down that route

Looking very good, once the log jam breaks it will set new levels!

NR answered some pointed questions on twitter and seems itching to tell what is going on .... but can't.... flat out in the graphene department it seems and it will get to the point of quite a few RNS's in my opinion.

Wondering when the 's' curve will begin, trading it is not an option in my book once the momentum starts, just a matter of time.

The weekly chart gives a better indication of the potential inflection point that could occur and the interesting similarity to a previous big movement
