Don’t forget you said you were going to trade a chunk and once said folk will assume posts are based on the current trade circs.

For the record I think the one aspect I’ve found could equate to an share price of multiples of now so if it happens all well and good.

That sort of news with all out main holders sold out will be an interesting time.

First up, Trump’s ego to work through and Brexit debacle.

The post Trump era is something to look forward too imo.

The beauty of some VRS enhancements is that it saves money.

We have spent too long thinking about added costs when in fact it reduces costs through innovation.

Good insight into the Faraday Institute....leveraging all UK talent; looking for a UK breakthrough; want the UK to own new battery tech....246 million invested over 4 years

Watch this space ...Neill is involved somewhere I'm sure !

Owenga, apologies if anything I have said has depressed you.I am merely stating what happened last time on results day, and bemoaning my lack of foresight to not have accumulated cash to buy more shares cheaply.I'm not sure why you have an issue with me.

Just thought that’s about 50 million shares sold by the big names across this year and it’s been a regular feature.

Now it’s down to a few mill (excluding Will) which they may or may not sell.

I look forward to the day they are out if they sell.

Indeed luckyO, and thus when jinjan say they will provide funding for a joint venture it's reasonable to say they do so because vrs are world leaders. As their experts say. Aimo. Best ellis

Just been checking out the MOUs regarding funding , out of interest decided to look at
the Jinan one, plenty of money there!

, it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Jinan High-tech Financial Investment Co., Ltd ("JHFI") in connection with the Company's ongoing plans to establish a manufacturing centre in the Jinan Innovation Zone, Shandong Province, China.

The MOU covers the plans for Versarien and JHFI, together with other parties in China as may be agreed, to establish a joint venture for the manufacture and sale of the Company's Nanene, Graphinks and other related graphene products in Jinan. Subject to the satisfactory completion of negotiations it is envisaged that JHFI will provide funding for the venture in a structure to be agreed.

Because of what we have learned regarding MOUs in China then it Will be funded by JHFI

Just finished painting ... groan.

Right the sellers.

£350 plus vat is the price for such info.

For the bears Vat is a type of tax, I know you like to pretend it doesn’t exist, or hope no one will notice.

Over Oct/Nov the larger holders (not Will) have sold around 2.5 mill to 3 mill.

EG the Miton trust fund (the one in poor form) had about 840k coming into December.

One day in the not too distant future that lot won’t have any.

One fund appears to be buying and got a few 100k in November but not enough to stave off those selling.

Add a bad market to that and the odd jittery PI and it all makes sense.

News will get bigger and better with hopefully certain holders out before then.

The guys short are of course gauranteed buyers of the future, the more they have short the better.

Right, time for a cold beer.

Good find dafad. To my mind, Geic partnering with NPL is recognition that standards and verification of graphene quality is vital in securing UK's continuing lead in 2D materials and giving confidence to the industry as a whole - producers, consumers and investors. hopefully this means the results of testing will be visible to investors too. Of this i am more optimistic with this announcement? If so a huge leap forward. As BB regulars will know, lack of transparency at Geic has been a concern of mine. I now look forward to further news due course. VRS sitting pretty in my view. Aimo. Best ellis

"James Baker, CEO, Graphene@Manchester said: “For the GEIC and graphene to be successful we need to ensure a wider holistic approach than the manufacturing ecosystem as a whole, as well as doing the work in the lab and around scale-up and prototyping we also need to generate confidence in new materials which has historically taken a long time.

“What we have seen with graphene has been very quick with applications already in the market and we are at a tipping point now where this will increase. We also need to ensure that false promises aren’t being made and that comes with the implementation of standards and demonstrating real-world value through prototypes.”

One of the barriers to market for any new material is standardisation, to enable end-users to be confident of quality, cost and repeatability when developing new applications and processes.

NPL’s expertise in test and verification of materials has already been combined with the NGI’s research and development excellence to develop a good practice guide and definitive terminology for graphene. Now as a Foundation partner NPL can provide national expertise for measurements for the properties of commercially supplied graphene.

JT Janssen, Research Director at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), said: “We are delighted to become a Foundation partner for The University of Manchester’s Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC). The Centre is a fantastic step forward, putting the UK’s emerging graphene economy at the forefront, accelerating commercialisation of next generation technologies in the same country the material was first isolated.

“As the National Measurement Institute for the UK, NPL is in a prime position to provide the materials verification and standardisation expertise as part of the GEIC’s remit. Our experts will be on-site in Manchester, working collaboratively alongside other industry experts to provide these services.

“Through this partnership we hope to continue the great work already underway in this area, such as the NPL-led graphene ISO standard, a world-first on graphene terminology. In collaboration with the University’s National Graphene Institute, we also produced the NPL Good Practice Guideon the Characterisation of the Structure of Graphene, as well as the Graphene Characterisation Service, launched earlier this year.”

Why should the share price fall? The foundations have been laid for an amazing British company. All the collaborations to date with record numbers of other companies banging on our door. China is bonkers about VRS graphene. It's all good. Imo, profits maybe tiny, but the next 12 months will be transformational for VRS. The collaborations will turn into orders. More collaborations will keep coming in. VRS will be too busy. What a lovely dilemma to have.

meganxmas,

I agree. It is totally unrealistic to expect large graphene sales now. The art of living is knowing what is possible in any given situation; some posters here don`t
seem to understand that. The story so far is good. I could argue that the market in the shares has got a bit carried away: c`est la vie.

Why should there be a major down day tomorrow as some suggest ?. I suspect company is progressing very nicely and managing cash very well thank you very much. Anyone expecting large graphene sales and profits haven't been following the story here. They will undoubtedly come. In meantime I will be delighted to see no need to raise cash alongside the obvious progress being made across numerous fronts. VRS are clearly in a unique position with an industry leading position. Continued progress along current lines should see a massive company.

I'd like to say that I've been investing for over 25 years in mainly higher risk shares, and I can't honestly think (IMHO)of a company which has had the huge potential that VRS has. I've been in old favourites such as BPRG, GKP, FIB, DUR, KWS, FEVR, ACSO, RKH, BURREN etc, and made and lost a lot of money. I currently have 10% in VRS at a small loss, and I'm ready to increase my shareholding if revenues and profit start to flow strongly. Most of the high flying shares of the last 20 years that I've followed have all had one thing in common. And that is "Trading ahead of expectations". If that ever happens here, thats my green light. When I was younger, I would take much higher risks but now I'm once bitten, twice shy. Some AIM stocks have promised the world and not delivered. I think all of you could name a few. At the end of the day we all know our personal appetite to risk, and invest accordingly. Some people will incessantly ramp, some will incessantly de-ramp. Some will behave like spoilt babies. But time, and the management will decide whether this company can deliver on its potential. Big businesses don't get built in a day. Traders, place your bets......Investors, good luck.

The only reason anyone needs to dread tomorrow is if they need to sell their shares in the near future.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it, not because I think any figures produced will look impressive but because I will be surprised if Neill doesn't provide a very positive future outlook ...and that is why I'm here.

Fest ,you must have short fingernails and taking the tranquilizers.
I admire you guys with a big holding, but fearing the worst in every waking moment would take it's toll on me.

I shall (like a few others) ride the ups and downs of whatever happens in the knowledge I'm content with my investment based on research and very helpful bb here.

@Festario I don't think the shares will sell off much tomorrow. They are hugely overvalued in my opinion though.

In any case it doesn't make any difference. What matters is sales and I mean a proper sales announcement with quantity, dollar value, timescales etc. Not just more huff and puff.
