05/12/2018 19:16 | Ridicule, I've been saying the same for days, but I've been heavily criticised for it. In fact I was labelled a shorter because of it.I do indeed expect a major spike down in the morning, one that I was determined to take advantage of, but I have failed to accumulate a cash pile.It was the most obvious way of increasing my shareholding but now I'm simply hoping that a miracle occurs and it doesn't happen.I believe that the lack of institutional involvement here is a very dangerous thing on such days. PI's are much more inclined to bail out at a loss, in order to salvage what they can.Equally they are quick to sell into any rise as they have been stung on AIM shares before.I hope I'm wrong but I'm dreading tomorrow. | ![]() festario

05/12/2018 19:11 | @hew you make accusations of shorters who "attempt to mislead and confuse" then come out with this "Independent Chinese assessment has declared VRS’ graphene to be the best and are clamouring to agree deals." The quote wasn't from an independent party, no information on their qualifications were given and what other products they had compared VRS Graphene to were given. Furthermore the actual words were "has [a] certain world leading position" That's not saying it's the best at all! One could just as easily say the same if FGRs PureGRAPH, xGnP from XGS or GrapheneBlack from NanoXplore. All these companies have a market cap a fraction of that of VRS, established sales and orders from companies such as Ford motors. | ![]() loglorry1
05/12/2018 18:56 | Nothing will Anley, but, by forensically identifying fact from innuendo, their lies become obvious. Shorting should be made illegal in my view but this thread is unlikely to achieve that! Expect a major attack tomorrow as the shorters try to highlight and maximise the current p/e, so, Mkt Cap based value of VRS and minimise the exciting Enteprise value. This may well cause a significant dip in the share price, but it will be temporary, given the number of activities underway, and their may be a revenue RNS to accompany the results. | ![]() ridicule

05/12/2018 18:37 | @mjatkin825 you might be surprised to here this but I think there's nothing wrong with Versarien at about £35m valuation. That puts it inline with its peer group. There's simply no logical reason why the company deserves a market cap any higher than for example FGR about £35m. FGR are Teir one partners at GEIC, they have production capacity of 100T per year, arguably better spec Graphene and have a commercial sale if 2T. I'll be the first to admit if I've got it wrong with VRS if they can announce a significant Graphene sale tomorrow not just more MoUs and self congratulatory waffle. | ![]() loglorry1
05/12/2018 18:31 | But RIDICULE what will stop them from posting lies etc???? | ![]() anley
05/12/2018 18:29 | Loggie lies by innuendo and implication. The classic shorter’s strategy. Real investors can reflect on the following: How many of the VRS collaborating partners are in discussions with those Graphene companies Loggie keeps promoting? Why did HMG second two Director level civil servants into VRS and to no other Graphene company? Why, when Loggie ridiculed said Civil Servants as Rookie salesmen, have VRS just delivered two Chinese MOUs of enormous potential? Why have the USA NGA selected VRS ahead of any US company to join the Executve Council in the form of NR? Why do some of the key ISO developers (I.e. Dr Martin Kemp)say they are proud to be employees of VRS? Why did the CPI select VRS to deliver all 4 categories of Graphene when the competition was based on excellence? Why did the Board of Gnanomat request NR to acquire them using VRS paper @ £1.50p, rather than cash? I could go on but, in denying and obfuscating the answers to all these questions which scream out what an incredible and unique company VRS are, Loggie, incompently aided and abetted by his fellow shorters, is lying about the true enterprise value of VRS to his own ends. | ![]() ridicule

05/12/2018 18:02 | Partners since 2016 ! Spun out 2014. Best ellis. "Manchester University takes shares in Versarien at huge premium" 2016-10-31 12:14:00 "Versarien acquired 85% of graphene application specialist 2-DTech in 2014 from the university. University of Manchester (UoM) is to take shares in engineering group Versarien PLC (LON:VRS) at a massive premium to the market price following on from the sale of 2- DTech. Versarien acquired 85% of graphene applic This latest agreement will see £191,500 of loans and collaboration fees converted into Versarien shares at a price of 19.14p, compared with a current market price of 11.65p. The new shares amount to 0.83% of Versarien’s shares in issue. UoM owns the remaining 15% of 2-DTech. 05/12/2018 17:57 | Not an over reaction at all but perhaps you need something awful to happen in your life to fully understand what matters and what doesn’t and how the way you behave is and how you are viewed is important. I suspect some of these guys don’t realise and probably won’t until it’s too late. C’est la vie. | ![]() tomduck

05/12/2018 17:17 | 'The business is progressing exceptionally well'. Just have to look at the RNS' for the past twelve months for how true that is. Probably of the last two RNS' the Polygrene RNS just edges it for me with: "We are in discussions with a number of potential customers for Polygrene and look forward to announcing specific applications where Polygrene is being used in due course." | ![]() ad63
