It does look like the shorters are having one last go. They will fail. Spectacularly. Soon. This looks to me like the END of the BEGINNING for VRS. Who knows why Neill is fling out to LA for a day trip as we speak but it isn't for nothing! I reckon the J curve is about to go vertical.

Accreditation isn't everything. If it's good enough for these guys and I'm sure all of our collaborators then it's just a formality.

"The MOU, signed by Li Hao, Chairman of JHFI, included the following statement: "JHFI specially organised experts to hold a demonstration meeting with regard to graphene project. Experts at the demonstration meeting consider that the graphene technology of Versarien has certain world leading position and can be introduced in China to strenghten technical co-operation between China and the UK".

Of course chumbo, they don't come up with umpty thousand tonnes they buy the equipment when they can smell the money, no point in buying something for it to stand idle 😊

Has anyone considered that VRS may have some orders for significant quantities drafted on some collabs' order pads, waiting for the signal that the new 3 Tpa kit is successfully commissioned and we are able to accept orders?

compound - why would your first post on the board of a company you claim to be a long term holder of, be one which states that you have no faith in the ability of the team to sell the product??? Doesn't make sense, he's filtered.

Feels like this is a last ditch attempt by the shorters...once the results are out of the way they are really going to struggle to find anything that could make the share price wobble... this isn't an oiler where we could at any time have to announce a duster...I see only good news, and lots of it, on the way soon.

All obviously just my opinion but I've been weak and bought a few more..

Spike, Scottish and foolish. I thought you had to pitch the ball at least once before you could call "out" on strike one. Poor guy might be a lurker who just enrolled today because he wanted to put a point across :-)

And still they'll offer me above the bid for 25k chunks. Does anyone have L2 and an opinion? MMs accumulating or large buy order being filled?

Melf - entirely agree. Shorters increasing their efforts as they become more desperate.

NatHat12 - I don't believe FGR are particularly versatile and producing a bucket liner is not exactly pushing the envelope. Similarly with XG and their golf balls. Neither of these are really that complex imo.

VRS is a 1000 piece jigsaw, FGR and XG - 50 imo

Agreed the bar has been set high, however I am in no doubt that nobody is putting more pressure on Neill right now, than himself.

Think about this.......NR hasn't gone to California for the day to take a tour of Alcatraz. I think this could be significant......all imo.

@NatHat12 all the emphasis is on promoting the shareprice via Twitter/Vox podcasts etc. to the unsophisticated end of the private investor market.

You only have to look at Neill on Twitter - it's shocking.

I suppose when you have a CEO who holds that many shares they are bound to promote them as much as they can.

Neill has said there are only 11 people working on the Graphene side of the business. 2 are civil servants on secondment who we are told are not involved directly with sales.

The graphene side of the business was bought for £440K (for 2-DTech) and a further 175K for Cambridge Graphene (mostly paid for in shares). Since acquisition very little R&D has been capitalised.

The 2D-Tech and Cambridge Graphene accounts must be available for group accounts to have been put together coming on Thursday. However they've not been published on Companies House yet.

I suspect we'll see no material sales booked to either company and thus another six months of no material graphene sales.
