Wait until the buying dries up again Fest.(Hopefully it won't but I'm very nervous about Thursday. Luckily I have some cash to put in if it drops.

The end of the road for some shareholders?

This assumption of "jam tomorrow" is now being increasingly challenged and so is the share price ahead of results with another 7 pence down

whoever the cornerstone investor is and IF they have bought very many at all. Maybe the mms are driving the share price down for them in which case the management would be fully cognisant and happy to let pis suffer a bit. Maybe not, who knows. That is why I'm an agnostic. I hate shares that become a religion. I've put more cash into China today (Fidelity) as at least the chart is going in the right direction and IF they do get Graphene from us it will impact them as well.

edit. AND if the clowns in parliament screw up any further I'm covered against any currency movements. Like John Redwood I would urge people to make sure they are hedged against the £ by moving their cash out of the UK. Apart from VRS, Filtronic and IQE I have virtually nothing in this benighted land. I just wish I didn't have to be here for the time being either. Easier to move cash than Body and Soul.

@Club makes some very valid points. Anyone looking at VRS shares down 6% with the FTSE up 150, Dow up 528 and Nasdaq up 180 points must be wondering WTF also.

Maybe the bulls should take their heads out of the sand and ask NR some real questions instead of falling for his free T-shirts and Teddy Bears routine?

Well @haz nobody can counter that argument can they? The problem you have is that AIM is littered with disasters where "story stocks" with highly promotional CEOs and management have failed to deliver and left investors with very large losses.

Is Versarien different?

Normally the best way to see a difference is if there is a large ramp up in sales. A so called hockey stick effect. A contraindication is loads of promises and delays.

Versarien have had collaborations stretching back 3 years. Their first was with Haydale I think who have recently secured a large graphene ink order using Talgas (a competitors) graphene. If VRS has the best graphene out there as @jointer keeps telling us why didn't they select VRS graphene inks for the job?

That cornerstone investor must be feeling like a right mug. Yes, I'm sure they bought for the long-term, aren't concerned about short-term movements, yada yada - but I'm also sure it's occurred to them that if they'd only waited a few weeks they could have bought 50% more shares for the same money, or paid 1/3 less for the shares they did buy...

CS - Why don't you just sell and stop whinging all the time ? You are not happy with VRS so why are you still around ? What is your purpose in all this non-stop daily moaning ? Can you change anything by crying every day of the working week ?

The flip side of "Anyone who can't see that potential and doesn't understand investment timelines deserves to miss the boat" is that anyone who overestimates the potential deserves to lose all their wealth. Me, I'm somewhere in between. Still agnostic here until I see some better figures. Maybe Thursday but I'm not counting on a rise.

Strange, they'll take large amounts of shares from me above the bid. Smacks of a tree shake.

Well, not strange really, if you think about it.

"Anyone who can't see that potential and doesn't understand investment timelines deserves to miss the boat imo."

That's *everyone* then, to judge by the buying interest...

An MOU with a massive chinese industrial province, with virtually unlimited funds to develop a fairly small British engineering companies products. Staggering potential. Anyone who can't see that potential and doesn't understand investment timelines deserves to miss the boat imo.

Alchemy predicted 15 pieces of news before Christmas. There are 15 business days left after today (including Christmas Eve, which will presumably be a half-day if the market is open at all).

Well, Alchemy?

I think you either believe in the company or you don’t, it may help some to read down through past RNS, bullet point the many positive items and draw up a timeline of where we were, where we are and where we are likely headed taking in everything we know, share price movements at the moment will be irrelevant when the first large order lands and commercialisation moves up a gear, imo that is the fact that we should be considering not dwelling on negativity.
