21/11/2018 20:51 | That's great Schmally. They did say they were looking into alternative materials as the problem is reoccurring with a material they use. People only wearing them three times and the whole sole crumbling. | ![]() moneysquirrel

21/11/2018 20:39 | VRS are not stupid. Along with talking to parties in China VRS will be liaising with their supplier to ensure demand will be met. VRS and Neill know much more about supply and demand than they are able to tell us. I imagine an action plan is already in place for the new machinery, just waiting for the word GO! | chimpandy1

21/11/2018 19:36 | Club, I suspect machines will be installed in China to deal with local orders of a large size. The point of the 3T machines is to increase production capacity here. The order could be large or small, could be spread over a period of time. The reality is VRS will not sign an order they are unable to meet over an agreed timeframe. | ![]() rafboy
21/11/2018 19:19 | Stephen Hodge just replied to my request to give 3 reasons why he joined VRS, sounds well excited...: @HelenMi72345376 11h11 hours ago More @Nanosteve1 Hi Steve, appreciate Neill probably doesn't allow you much free time but if you do get a mo how about giving us 3 reasons why you chose to join the #VRSfamily? TIA @Nanosteve1 11m11 minutes ago More Replying to @HelenMi72345376 1. VRS licenced something we invented and thought I'd see that through to the final product 2.The opportunity to take up the Head of Research position bringing the graphene subsidiaries together is something I could not have dreamed of 3.They are a bloody great team of people! | ![]() woodpeckers
21/11/2018 18:36 | Yes, hard to know; the way VRS are going about things with the collabs & testing of product to ensure the clients are more than happy, it actually won't hold us up at this stage, imo. But nevertheless it would be nice to tick the box. Less important now, than eg , a year ago, because of the huge progress we have made. all imo. | ![]() scottishfield

21/11/2018 18:28 | As a layman scottish, given world trading issues generally, plus nations like russia who are protracting multilateral agreements as a strategy, i would guess later than sooner? However, if so, this doesn't preclude individual nations bringing their own national standards in lieu of, and organising/standardi EDIT - having just written that, if usa/china trade dispute resolves at g20. Brexit proceeds. Then logically, iso could come sooner than later too ! Imo. Best ellis | ellissj
21/11/2018 18:14 | Any guess on the ISO standards ellis? Timing? I know these things take for ages. | ![]() scottishfield
21/11/2018 18:13 | Warren Buffett: You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you. True power is sitting back and observing things with logic. True power is restraint. If words control you that means everyone else controls you. Breathe and allow things to pass. Not Warren Buffett: Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates. 21/11/2018 18:09 | And of course, since my post, chinese experts say vrs have world leading products. And neill tweeted vrs can further process and improve +nanene to meet customer specs. Including thickness. And that is the clear blue water vrs enjoys. As It's laterals and thickness that characterise 2D products. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis | ellissj

21/11/2018 17:55 | Hi jkok. No official updates as far as i know. But informally, neill tweeted vrs board had discussed the matter early september i believe. Plus, During nga conference, neill was in the graphene council presentation event. Further, Neill tweeted a picture of show pass, reverse side had 'graphene council' on it with vrs written underneath that; only firm mentioned? (Think that's right?) At last weeks idtech show, graphene council and vrs had stands next to each other, and neill tweeted to the effect this was the plan. He also referenced graphene councils terrance barkan (big cheese) who was on their stand. Therefore, taking all this into account, reasonable to say the mood music looks good. But as we know, ISO standards have taken longer than most expected. And finally, neill is off to usa soon, washington and cali. Happy to be corrected on points if my memory has lapsed here ppl. Aimo. Best ellis. | ellissj
21/11/2018 17:24 | Ellissj. Reference your very informative post 18 Nov '18 - 09:44 - 48718 of 49545 I wondered if you have heard anything more on this which was announced in July? 21/11/2018 17:14 | Rafboy- so what will the new machines allow? Orders for 5Kg? 10Kg? Incrementally-large orders are to be welcomed, of course, but I for one won't start getting excited til the orders are in the range of 50Kg, 100s of Kgs or low single-figure Ts. That's from collab partners - of course we still have the wild card of Jinan and possibly other Chinese manufacturing facilities: I'd expect those to be in the order of 10s of Ts from the off... | club sandwich
21/11/2018 16:57 | I agree that it's not helpful to speculate on a takeout price for VRS, but we do know for sure that VRS has been approached. The Chinese regard VRS graphene as being world leading. In time, all good things come to those that want. I am looking to the future with my holdings. Recent comments in the Chinese RNS bode well for VRS. | harrysol
