It's about managing expectations. Clearly, getting the right deal in is paramount for long term success and the share price I am pleased with the exponential growth in machinery capacity to service collab testing and since the agm reports and using logic, i hold a reasonable expectation of orders in the short term if these collabs mature successfully, or sooner, if a company wishes to 'steal a march' on a rival, which wouldn't be unheard of. In the near term, i understand the chinese could use a model of producing graphene first, then create the demand. Thus either way, an order could land very soon, or be a while yet. I haven’t posted since attending the AGM at which it was a pleasure to meet and put faces and real names to the many of you who spend much time and make many comments on this BB.

I too (quietly) await further news, particularly on China. My thinking has not really changed from that of 2 months ago at post #25730

The benefits that should arise in future from nano-(2D)-materials should be huge.
Quite where graphene fits in and where VRS fits in remain to be seen.

To help me understand those fits from an investment perspective, I’m off to a NPL Teddington conference tomorrow.

Can anyone confirm VRS news timelines? We all live on the probability of outcomes - as of today nothings changed. With the growth witnessed over the last 12 months I consider my VRS investment daily. When the time comes I will use my own judgement of VRS' position and sell(hopefully at £4.00+) without hesitation. If the decision feels right it is right at that moment in time. No one can ensure the future but with VRS' management I know they will work hard for the probability of outcome to be in our favour.

How long to wait?
For me it is simple: if the story changes e.g. several of the collab's cease with no orders, and successful competition appears.

Otherwise there is no logic in selling unless something else that has more world beating potential in a shorter time frame appears. And at the moment I can't see that happening.

Sonson - no fixed timeline as it’s a fast paced world with many moving parts.

Your definition of progress may be different from others which is why investing is an individual sport!

Ultimately all companies need to make a profit and VRS valuation is an inexact science at the moment, but as long as I think I can see (and am happy with)the direction the board are taking VRS I’ll be on the shareholder register.
