08/10/2018 09:42 | @club1 I know you've been fed this line left right and center but the truth is that they other manufacturers of few layer GnP products are producing a product which is inline with that of nanene. Further it simply isn't the case that fewest layers are best in the GnP world. Each application is different and there are different qualities required for each. Further there is absolutely nothing to suggest that nanene is superior to say XGSs solution or First Graphene's solution. However certainly in the case of XGS they are ramping up production and sales quickly whereas despite all NR's bluster he doesn't seem to be able to sell anything much past a few Kg. NR claimed ISO was about to show Nanene as the best weeks ago but there is no sign of ISO being signed off. In fact we were shown a proposal for what would be in the ISO standard and they way VRS are measuring number of layers (Raman Spectroscopy) isn't one of the proposed methods. Thus one might even argue that the main claim here by the bulls that fewest layers is best has not been measured using the proposed ISO standard. | loglorry1
08/10/2018 09:41 | Log/Tim - what is your interpretation of why the UK govt seconded Matt Walker and Peter Jay to Versarien? | grabster
08/10/2018 09:38 | Interesting that you bring up HAYD Super. I don't know whether you have seen the video re Graphene in the FT. David Banks appears in it (CEO) with a bit of waffle. Mostly it is again not fully informed but would be interesting to get your take on it. Just go to FT web page and scroll down to video. No subs needed. | pshevlin
08/10/2018 09:36 | Why is it ridiculous sonsonny? | zagrosfold
08/10/2018 09:35 | Dolores I would, if I had any spare cash ;-) | club sandwich
08/10/2018 09:35 | This looks like a good time to buy and or top up. | dolores123
08/10/2018 09:34 | Tim you don’t realise how graphene works. Multilayer is like charcoal, single layer is like diamonds. Anyone can make charcoal and spew it out by the tonnes. Why don’t you understand this? Are you choosing to ignore this? | cdub1
08/10/2018 09:34 | Log-If you're in a hole over a short problem you've got yourself in ,what do you expect on this board ,where we have made so much money? | p@
08/10/2018 09:32 | Cure for cancer is a ridiculous comment | sonsonnyjim
08/10/2018 09:30 | Super, as regards AIM I have one word to say: Manduca. | club sandwich
08/10/2018 09:29 | @superg1 why not engage with me? If you are so confident then let's have a proper debate about VRS valuation and products. Why are you so keen to try and keep your troops in line? VRS has a nose bleed valuation and no (material) Graphene sales. Proper investors should be kicking the tyres and asking the management of their company hard questions not just having their tummies ticked by cryptic tweets. I'm completely open to having a proper debate with you on VRS products. Much of what you write is technically inaccurate. Your default position that all the competition is inferior to VRS is utter rubbish. To start with the simple fact that other competitors are selling their graphene at the hundreds of tonnes level whereas VRS has only managed a few Kg samples is strong evidence of that. | loglorry1
08/10/2018 09:27 | "Dominent in graphene batteries." Every confidence neill and co successful here. And as current Battery market lost already to asia, uk/europe will likely double down on winning the next gen battery race, inc 2D materials. I imagine early stage investors will be v interested in gnano/vrs offering. Glalth. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis | ellissj
08/10/2018 09:24 | I wish NR wouldn't casually bandy that phrase "cure for cancer" as part of his graphene expectations. Potential improvements in certain cancer treatments yes - possibly groundbreaking ones - but cure for cancer is the kind of exaggeration that gets companies a bad name and shows a misunderstanding of what cancer is. | grabster
08/10/2018 09:23 | NR on Twitter with regards Gnanomat: 'It is a key part of my strategy to be dominant in #graphene batteries' - disruptive technology. Commercialisation next year? Who'd be knocking on our door then:) | anotherdrink
08/10/2018 09:23 | Fuji That's no the way Sp spike shares see it. Typically media articles cause share price spikes due to buying. If it's a positive article then some buy from the off expecting buyers and an share price hike. If it's known to be coming then some will buy on that basis. BTW do we have any Hayd holders about because everyone I talk to in the background fears the worst re Hayd. A genuine held belief by some that the end is nigh. | superg1
08/10/2018 09:23 | "The real thing is when orders start to flow - which I expect to happen soon." yep - high time IMO all this frantic activity started turning into material news: and the company knows it... | club sandwich
08/10/2018 09:10 | Superg - Anticipating an article on a paper or anything else has no meaning really. The real thing is when orders start to flow - which I expect to happen soon. | fuji99
08/10/2018 09:10 | Another tweet from the boss just now....."I think this sums up our mission, anyone can make a few bucks on the market, you ramp it, you sell it job done. I have a different plan. All these are all possibilities , plus batteries, evs , space, cure for cancer etc, it is why I don't look at the share price day to day #lth" | psxtalks2u
08/10/2018 09:05 | Seems like he is working on the final part of the jigsaw too. That in itself is an exciting venture. | diversification
08/10/2018 09:01 | Neill just now " It is a key part of my strategy to be dominant in #graphene batteries." :-) Seem to remember a podcast when he mentioned 'anyone who can get batteries right will be sitting on a desert island..' (or words to that effect...) | woodpeckers
08/10/2018 08:56 | I don't know . I do know it's only 19 to 21 moving parts in an EV rather than 4000 plus in conventional current I / c jobbiesr. The marcap here is amazing. Needs an underpin by Friday. Lol | alchemy
08/10/2018 08:56 | Fuji Imo bound to have been the odd few in for. agree for the Sunday Times anticipated article. That's the trouble with posting info like that. | superg1 |
