Graphene oxide has now reached the pinnacle of any material’s evolution, successfully proving itself in the lab against six kinds of cancer cells. Researchers from the University of Manchester have found that flaked graphene oxide preferentially hits these cancers where it hurts

loglorry, what are you on about mate? Raman Spectroscopy IS the recommended method by NPL and the ISO commission to characterise the quality of graphene, be it 1LG, 2LG or FLG..

An odd game being played by Singer.

They were at 172 at letting them go for 170.85 making them look like sells.

Buys went to 171.7 so singer moved to 173p, why move from 172.

Odd behaviour.

In the world of Graphene, I see VRS as the iOS to everyone else's Android.

They may have 70% market share.......but Apple takes home nearly 90% of the global smartphone profits.

The first smartphone was actually released in the early 1990s (by IBM), but Apple didn't release the iPhone until 2007.

Quality takes time.

Have some patience.

I guess the government are wrong, the NGI are wrong, AXIA are wrong, Aecom are wrong, the graphene “top dogs” of Dr Martin Kemp and Dr Koltsov are wrong but Timmy on his Twitter is right!! Lol laughable!

Log - so the UK government has been hoodwinked by Neill Ricketts?

Twice?

Are they not listening to you?

And America's National Graphene Association have ranked Versarien highly because? They too have been fooled?

"Versarien joins as the inaugural member of the NGA’s Industry Council. The Industry Council is a select number of prominent graphene companies leading NGA committees on policy, standards, and business development. "

Sonny: this was published in early 2015, there are several similar examples.
Graphene oxide selectively targets cancer stem cells, across multiple tumor types: Implications for non-toxic cancer treatment, via “differentiation-based nano-therapy”

sonsonny - no but plenty of other medical research labs are looking at graphene as a potential tool to cure cancer so it's not a ridiculous comment.

The share price continues to head towards my 160 prediction for this week as investors realise that their jam tomorrow shares are turning mouldy and bin them rapidly. They've been well and truly led up the garden path by the deluded rampers. £2 by Xmas? HO Ho Ho, try £1.

@grabster I think it is what it is. I don't see these people as particularly senior in the world of graphene. I think NR is a tremendous promoter and he is leveraging government contacts to that end to give the impression that HMG has "chosen" VRS. I don't think that's the case. I don't think they have the depth of scientific knowledge we see in other firms.

It comes down to sales and these guys have produced none.

For the record I'm not short VRS and I'm only popping in here now and then. I would consider a short here though so I should probably not post and let the shares rise a bit ;-)

As far as i'm concerned, the company was questioned at the recent AGM by a large (for aim) shareholder meeting. And by the majority of reports, most were satisfied. Any other uninformed opinion is just that. Aimo. Best ellis

@club1 I know you've been fed this line left right and center but the truth is that they other manufacturers of few layer GnP products are producing a product which is inline with that of nanene. Further it simply isn't the case that fewest layers are best in the GnP world. Each application is different and there are different qualities required for each.

Further there is absolutely nothing to suggest that nanene is superior to say XGSs solution or First Graphene's solution. However certainly in the case of XGS they are ramping up production and sales quickly whereas despite all NR's bluster he doesn't seem to be able to sell anything much past a few Kg.

NR claimed ISO was about to show Nanene as the best weeks ago but there is no sign of ISO being signed off. In fact we were shown a proposal for what would be in the ISO standard and they way VRS are measuring number of layers (Raman Spectroscopy) isn't one of the proposed methods. Thus one might even argue that the main claim here by the bulls that fewest layers is best has not been measured using the proposed ISO standard.
