Saw this which should give us some mileage:-

Directa Plus announced that the re-surfacing of the first road in the world with a supermodifier containing graphene as part of a commercial test on a road surface for a section of Rome's Strada Provinciale Ardeatina.

SG - AIM should be very receptive if the conclusions warrant a further look.

A 55% stake in the NEX exchange has just been bought by a consortium headed by founder and former CEO of Numis, Oliver Hemsley, and is to be a direct competitor to AIM.

AIM need to look after their decent companies otherwise they will be left with the dross.

Think this has been posted before, but still interesting.

Made in China 2025

'The Center for Strategic and International Studies describes it as an "initiative to comprehensively upgrade Chinese industry" directly inspired by the German Industry 4.0.[1] It is an attempt to move the country's manufacturing up the value chain[5] and become a major manufacturing power in direct competition with the United States[6][7].

The US think tank Council on Foreign Relations stated in 2018 that it is a "real existential threat to U.S. technological leadership"'

a major technological tussle between China and America, with li'l ole VRS in the middle...

Just to ease your concerns. I'm well aware of that hence my posts are mere warning PIs about what may have gone on but not about what I think has gone on.

You may find at some point I won't mention it at all.

After all I was just playing golf when I was warned something dodgy seemed to be going on, then back in the clubhouse I saw the RNS, then the tweet and so on.

It may all be completely innocent but having viewed what "that lot' do over the years then I'd be surprised if it was all squeaky clean.

They do not seem to understand the term "let sleeping dogs lie".

Complacency and years of getting away with it, like investing is no guide for the future.

I chatted to Peter At the AGM. He has no intention of using Twitter. He is too unsure of what he can and can't say and doesn't want to let anything slip. Seems an absolute top bloke though and very excited about what's to come.

Shavian, thanks for the link to that battery video. As you point out Chumbo, the guy speaks frighteningly quickly but I loved the way he slowed down and said 'Whoever solves the battery problem is going to be seerriioouusslly RICH!'

Just a word of caution for anybody trying to dig up any evidence of dodgy dealings relating to the recent PB offer. If you do unearth key information or evidence of potentially illegal activity/fraud, please refrain from posting any names or parties you believe to be involved or specific details on message boards any public forums.

To disclose information could potentially be viewed as a 'tipping off' which is itself a criminal offence. It's better to be safe than sorry, so I would suggest simply sharing any potential evidence you unearth with SG via PM's to help him join the dots

Schmally - a great suggestion if Super is up for it. I despise crooks and crooked ways. Nothing but white collar thieves and would support any cause to oust them.

With regards to the FCA's apparent lack of appetite to pursue fraud or irregular activity investigations, this very much mirrors my experiences of dealing with the FCA. As a director of a SIPP company, as part of our due diligence checks on investments and third parties, we often unearth suspicious activities or certain things that warrant investigation. On occasions I have provided clear information and evidence that should prompt the FCA to investigate matters, but have never been aware any prompt action was ever taken.

Perhaps as a collective we could try and buck the trend and start to ramp up pressure on the FCA to at least investigate activities in relation to VRS, which could be used as an example to highlight the potential consequences for any alleged illegal activity. SG is clearly doing a lot of work to try and link the chain of activity and identify who was involved and hopefully he will be able to complete the jigsaw in due course.

I would suggest, that if SG is happy to do so, that when he has a more complete picture, he could produce a template letter for all shareholders to separately submit to the FCA insisting they investigate, with accompanying evidence of any potential impropriety. We could also threaten to collectively leverage any financial press contacts we may have to highlight our concerns about FCA failings in relation to AIM market activity if they fail to investigate fully.

I would like to think that with the DIT representation in VRS, that we could perhaps also contact them directly to see whether HMG can raise their own concerns about the issue (especially as they now have clear visibility of dodgy dealings which has impacted a company they have a vested interest in)

I'd be interested in people's thoughts.
