18/9/2018 16:12 | If you say so @sonnyjim but I'm not sure they are playing catch up they can do 14 tonnes per of graphene and looking at the spec sheet the lateral sizes aer 2x-3x as big as nanene hence a far superior aspect ratio. Oh and the stock trades at £34m market cap not £250m like VRS. | ![]() loglorry1
18/9/2018 16:08 | LWalshy92: for someone who only joined ADVFN today you seem to have a lot of views (and posts) that make it clear you don't have a clue. BTW - who were you yesterday - just asking ;0) Best wishes - Spike | ![]() spike_1
18/9/2018 16:02 | In short there are much cheaper options without the baggage. I keep an eye on them. Glad you mentioned it as It reminded me to check on one I haven't checked on for a while. It looks like a cheap acquisition option to me. I believe an ex VRS man now works for them. | ![]() superg1
18/9/2018 15:58 | Loglorry, VRS will have competitors if not now then in the future, we are best placed atm and need to take advantage with a first mover moment. 0/17 needs to be changed, one huge aecom order could make the company mind | ![]() sonsonnyjim
18/9/2018 15:57 | Anley Their are other functionalization options and companies with tech that do it (if needed). Hayd just happens to be visible as it's on the AIM. I was thinking about the cash burn there. Ray seemed to get the model wrong. VRS acquired long standing companies like AAC and Carbide that have a profit. They fit re all the engineering skills, kit and in many cases potential end markets. It seems Hayd have acquire companies that are losing money otherwise how else explain the big cash burn. The graphene side expense is the cash burn for VRS white it develops. I suspect the thermal side will start to drop away and be replaced by graphene production as time goes on. Just my view on it. | ![]() superg1
18/9/2018 15:55 | They reduced their losses by a considerable amount this year and should be on course to be in slight profit next. Last years figures did not include any graphene sales as far as I am aware. Ask SuperG if you want a better opinion. Oh and it's SheVLin by the way! Common mistake as V does not usually appear before L in english. | ![]() pshevlin

18/9/2018 15:52 | @superg they do have a presentation which says Atomic Force Microscopy, confirms typical platelet thicknesses of 5-10nm. So not dissimilar to nanene compare the Raman results on They also claim much better lateral dimensions. Just saying. | ![]() loglorry1
18/9/2018 15:51 | Need to have proper look at the chap who tweeted this, but the university of Manchester retweeted thisSpent a fascinating day at the Univ of Manchester. Met Prof. Dame Nancy Rothwell, Prof @lukegeorghiou , and @JamesHBaker1 , CEO of the National Graphene Institute.. #Graphene will have incredible applications in future incl. in Aerospace. Thanks everyone & Shikha at #UK Invest. | ![]() andymoore07
18/9/2018 15:45 | Shelvin - on what basis would vrs have a profit without graphene in next year's results? | ![]() sonsonnyjim
18/9/2018 15:44 | anley - I think VRS have the opposite growth strategy to HAYD. HAYD have the physical global footprint (and the associated fixed running costs)without the revenue to match whereas VRS are forging relationships with local partners (using their facilities so far)to create their global reach. A very simple comparison and happy to be corrected. | lovat scout
18/9/2018 15:43 | Walshy. Company doesn't just make Graphene and next year should post a profit without it so Zero? Zero chance! | ![]() pshevlin
18/9/2018 15:43 | the tectonic plates of science are moving with the technology of graphite as industry adopts the technology, graphene is a by product of graphite,no matter what you call it hydrogen is fastly being adopted by technology,of which gives vrs the advantage to be market leaders with the technology of hexotene. as the market works on the future ! | ![]() dreamtwister
18/9/2018 15:42 | anley, not sure that VRS want or need Haydale to be honest. | ![]() rafboy
18/9/2018 15:38 | Hi Ellissj,Doubt the DOW buyers are watching VRS, but here's hoping...! | lwalshy92
18/9/2018 15:33 | RAFBOY....on behalf of all shareholders I hope you are right........... in the meantime I was looking at the Haydale report and it deem seem to me that in the not to distant future VRS should bid for the business..........th So wait, watch and get ready to pounce as within the next few years the Graphene industry will start to reorganise its self - the good the bad and some ugly ones! Now for a cup of Chinese tea.......... | ![]() anley
18/9/2018 15:32 | First graphene. I do try to warn folk that there is a lot of BS in the market and how much an Aussie accent has me running away. First graphene have launched Puregraph "Our competitive research has revealed that no other manufacturers have been prepared to present the detail of product information shown by FGR.” brilliant isn't it accept VRS of course provide the most comprehensive one I've seen on the market. But for the biggest laugh of all FGR don't mention in their data sheet how many layers theirs is. lmao. Typical BS. | ![]() superg1
18/9/2018 15:30 | Agree with John, however, would like to also add that it could go to zero. The company has yet to post a profit, and whilst this year has been promising, the range of possible results for this company remains huge, hence the huge speculation on this chat. | lwalshy92

18/9/2018 15:24 | If we believe on a China deal the share price could rerate to £3 then I think it will be a lot quicker to £6.50 than 5 years. My personal view is that should the China deals happen alongside 2/3 other major deals then we could see £5 within 12/18 months. | ![]() rafboy
18/9/2018 15:18 | Looks like an orderly transfer of shares to me. Changing broker a smart move neill imo. Gla. Best ellis. | ![]() ellissj |
