Usually. I heard it said AGMs yearly best rate a hangover from yesteryear when the financial state after the harvest had to be neatly summarised. They can however be a catalyst for statements that are forward Looking. But most market moving events are asynchronous , I agree.

Nothing ever happens at AGMs. Just a load of procedures.

It climbed rapidly on the back of no news so a retrace is inevitable. The shorters (and LTH's such as myself) will have their day occasionally with a share as volatile as VRS. In my opinion it will remain so, as long as collaborations are 0/14 and China is 0/36 (my best guess - I know the zeroes are correct though). When we start seeing numbers in the first column that volatility will change in a heartbeat.

Excellent post Dolores123.Totally devoid of any reasoning & absent any evidence... yet well written nonetheless.

The next decent rns could take this to 200p leaving the way open for 300p by Xmas. An rns could land any day now. The timing has nothing to do with the AGM.

Re: AGM Presentation, you can always ask Neill?
Suffice to say, if they plan to stay 'till 1p.m., that's at least one and a half hours after formal business is completed, so I would be very surprised if there isn't one.

What there obviously will be regardless, is a lot of Q&A, much of which will appear here.

Since Neill has said there will be updates on the collab's at the AGM, they are very likely to appear as an RNS first thing Tuesday morning, and the share price will react accordingly.

Best wishes - Spike

RTJ: Minervini lot sell before results generally or they don't if already in big profits. That is his theory. Never knew people sell before AGM.

Adejuk: Sorry. That was just an example, not pointing at you. Only said because you keep saying, traded today, made £600 or traded other day and made £1500. If one has a few hundred thousands pot, few hundred pounds don't matter or do they? unless we take them out to pay for what we like even grocery shopping etc.

There are retraces and there are total collapses such as this. There's going to be a lot of long faces at the agm with NR patting them on the head as he tries to console them with more promises of riches to come. They'll probably believe him as well.

It seems that the buyer is either standing back now, to see where it will settle.... or he's got enough. That leaves the seller, plus nervous PI's, forced to accept less.

sell, buy, hold, trade, red or black?.. you guys do what you want, you will not stop this company marching forward, at every stage of it's dramatic climb in innovation, and global recognition. Which, all in good time, will reflect the true value of this fledgling global leader in the world markets!

Do what you want guys! I know the potential here and I know what I'm doing and that's all that matters to me!

It's prob best to absolutely ignore all of Bungles posts as well as the clowns on the other vrs threads! Just let them rant on, its standard fayre around here.. we all know that.

You will look back and laugh at all their drivel. Don't waste your time or energy with all their bb clutter and nonsense!

Don't let the likes of them take your eye of the (golden) ball.. all the way to £100!

The only people crying will be those that intended selling in the short term. For most on here it's normal fluctuations and an overdue retrace. The only surprise is that it didn't come earlier. The future is rosy

The thing I can't reconcile in my head is, why, as the bid gets cheaper, will they still take more shares from me than they have done for the last 7 days or so?I can sell plenty, but at a constantly deteriorating price. Most odd.

If VRS makes a profit of 15 million and the PE is 100 because of massive future potential then the share price would be 10 pounds. Can someone check the maths please.

I'm 1 but when it gets to £3 or more I might start trading 5%. Will probably lose money and then stop trading!

There are following types of people here:

1. Long term holders, just buying when can, selling only in next 2-5 years or more

2. Same as 1, but also having some trading part (e.g. 5/10/15% of overall LTH to be used as trading pot). They will trade peaks n troughs.
2a. Some just want cash from time to time for monthly bills e.g. adejuk
2b. Some want to increase overall LTH count.

3. Just traders, going after 5-25% gains.

4. Short term goal minders, from now to next 3 months e.g. buying a car, remortgage etc.

If you're 1, then you don't care as long as company direction is same as before.

For rest, let them play. Some are good and some are bad at it. So let them have fun.
