I do wonder sometimes chillpill, are they just negative people (probably not even short) that don't like to see success and if success develops despite their negativity it only increases their urge to see it fail?

I read a post from earlier suggesting someone was averaging down on a short..hoping it will go to 50p.

I don't get the mentality on a couple of fronts.

a. I am positive in my outlook and want people to succeed. It goes against my psyche to wish failure on people.
b. Why waste your (negative) energy and time researching an investment that has a max. upside of 100% when if you had focused your energy investing in a company with significant lomg term upside potential you could be sitting on a profit of upto 1500%?...as quite a few people are.

Imagine you are a market maker and are given an early morning order to buy 500,000 shares in a market where all the big holders aren't interested in selling any shares.

What do you do to fill the order? Try and flush some traders out? Probably. Also does a favour for those of us in for the long term.The 10p spread is also annoying for the traders.

I guess they could have done that ellis, but they would have to be sure that the price was going to then go >190 in the short term to fill the buy order and make a profit

I'm completely out IQE and losses put in here so actually in profit. Too much shorter activity and on a large scale for me. Company being trashed for no good reason. I'll put some back in when shorts are down to about 5%.
