No Tim, it is amazing what they can do with modern drugs nowadays, they make you feel young but the first hour of the day is a good reminder of what it is like without them 😁

...funny story from years back when 2 of us as student nurses were on placement in a nursing home we were tasked with cleaning everyone’s glasses ... and false teeth .. i drew the short straw and got the dentures which i methodically one by one did them all ... not my mate she gathered all the specs up cleaned them all .. then hadnt a clue which pair belonged to who and neither did the residents most of whom had dementia... there followed a row between 2 ladies one of whom could clearly see much better in a pair of glasses that someone else said were hers and had a photo to prove it.. the matron wasn’t happy til i pointed out it could have been worse she could have got the dentures !

What a great way to bring us together. I am sure most of us unable to attend the golf day have now walked the course and tasted the wine and eavesdrped on conversations.
