07/9/2018 11:24 | I’ve been doing some sniffing around and I’m sure that there aren’t any what I would call ‘live active sellers’. Herald and Miton have their profit taking discipline and will let some go as and when but for the time being the pressure is off. The house broker was bidding for shares lower and was the reason for the strength around 150p. Interesting times.......DYOR AIMHO etc. | lovat scout

07/9/2018 10:30 | Richafling - good query posts and nice to see someone with eye on the ball re what is important - the development of commercial scale consistent/cheap dispersal techniques for graphene in important polymers & prepregs - the whole thing masked in secrecy with a googling blackout on the topic it seems - I take comfort from the fact that the benefits of adding graphene are established scientifically now - given that, why would we have such big collab partners in packaging etc if commercialisation was still a non-starter? - As insurance we also have a myriad of likely share price transformative applications that have nothing to do with polymers - not a bad place to be | pcjoe
07/9/2018 10:00 | Donostia becomes the next week in the European capital of graphene ++++++++++++++++++++ Starting on Monday, more than 600 researchers will participate in the Graphene Week, where the latest news about this new material will be presented Among the attendees highlights the researcher Andre Geim, who together with Konstantin Novoselov, won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010, just six years after discovering graphene and paving the way for other two-dimensional materials. His paper will deal with the latest advances in graphene research. Professor of Chemistry Clare Gray of the University of Cambridge will talk about the application of graphene in energy storage because it is another of the areas where graphene could play a relevant role. 07/9/2018 09:57 | Thanks Chill Snippets like that are great info for me and others that may want to learn about the market. The open down was simply the UT trade giving a false closing mid price of 152p instead of the 150p it should have been. So today it's up 3.5p so far in real terms. 148-152 was the closing spread yesterday. | ![]() superg1
07/9/2018 09:49 | A formalised 2D industry that gives customer industries and investor greater confidence should see 2D certificatd firms do well i imagine. Especially those with exponential collaboration interest. Using logic, aimo. Glalth. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
07/9/2018 09:49 | I don't bother to look at the individual trades as it doesn't necessarily reflect what is going on in the background. However a "T" trade can often tell a story. I think I saw a trade for 22,500 shares with "T" market against it as the last trade of the day yesterday. That "T" is what is known as a protected trade. What it means is it is a trade that has been unable to be completed at the time that the order was given due to its size. So a 'T' trade @ 152p at the end of the day yesterday suggested there was an unfilled buyer at 152p and that in all likelihood would be rolled into today. | ![]() chillpill

07/9/2018 09:46 | Superg I was talking to myself about when to top up again lol, I was thinking share price might move sideways or drift if no RNS but it’s proving resilient so far, I’m fully all in, if I had more £ available I would be sticking every last disposable dime in but I still adhere to the principle I don’t invest more than I can afford to lose, NR recently did a very small gesture towards me (that I was not expecting) and in my book it summed up the man that I’m getting to know a little about which is one small reason why I’m happy to have a small holding in the business | ![]() haz101

07/9/2018 09:34 | Yeah one that was admiring your drive Squire. I called it was you before looking and the nearest the pin. :-) I managed the left light rough about 15 yards short of your drive and I did wonder what would have been if I could have got some fade on it on the nice short stuff. My first comp was as a real beginner I got a half set of Dunlops and a Sam snead 3 wood for about 30 quid. Bashed a few around and on the driving range then went in for the works comp 36 hole job 60 in it. They had me on 28 but I asked to be cut as I couldn't seem to hit it wrong on the driving range. They laughed at me and put me on 19 so I could have 2 shots on the stroke index 1 hole. 3 putted the first, in the water on the second and carded a 75 on a scratch 72 course for the morning round, I did tell 'em. Not popular is an understatement. Took me about 10 years of golf to hit lower than 87 after that. I did add a £12.50 2nd hand 6 wood to the 'bag' which I used in fairway bunkers. "Your using what", couldn't miss with it, bloody thing fell apart in the end, too much use. Lost my Sam snead but found another 2nd hand for £3, it's still in the garage. | ![]() superg1
07/9/2018 09:21 | NR in London in last 24hrs, why I don't know, but hope we find out soon. Sorry my comp won't connect to wifi, taken it in to geek shop so reduced to phone. Apologies for not reporting my gossip from golf, but still grinning. Superg is a real person :-) lol And so are all the VRS team ;-) | ![]() squire007

07/9/2018 09:13 | 2 55k trades from yesterday just reported. Probably buys. Am I right in thinking that it could be the same trade reported twice as it's at the exact same time? Thanks | ![]() chimpandy1
07/9/2018 08:50 | LuckyO - just looking at the late trade you mentioned yesterday. I think there was an order to buy at the closing price and so the small 3k trade was done to make sure the highest price was acheived for the MM seller’s larger trade. Happens a lot with portfolio trading in less liquid shares. | lovat scout
07/9/2018 08:47 | Fuji I wish I had an extra share for the amount of times people have said that. Some have repeatedly said collaboration news will no longer move the share price Funds have sold millions and the share price doubled while they did. As the picture grows other investors join. It's a simple case of supply and demand. If the funds stopped selling tomorrow and those PIs that want out are done then it would start to move up. When it moves up buyers come in. If it breaks out on the chart traders buy and so on. My forecast for H2 was £2-£3. If what VRS are buzzing about hits before the year end that should be walk in the park imo. | ![]() superg1 |
