24/8/2018 11:18 | Diplomat If needed a few do functionalisation. One issue for some is that it damages the platelets making causing a performance drop, but even without that I hear it can be detrimental to performance compared to just plain old GNPs. A key factor which is in detail in old posts is dispersion. Some sold their business on the point that no graphene can be put to work without functionalisation. So any tests which didn't show favourable returns on that wouldn't be welcome for some I suspect. | ![]() superg1
24/8/2018 11:10 | Diplomat Who has 'sold' you that story? Sounds like sales pitch there by someone else. Your post "I believe the missing piece in the VRS jigsaw, the stumbling block to orders materialising, is that of functionalisation." Functionalisation can fit in some cases. However I believe some tests have been done via a grant, I found the grant document, lost it now, but heard funtionalisation was of no benefit and sometimes detrimental. I've been hunting for the report, I know it's out there somewhere, perhaps it hasn't been published yet. But for now I disagree with that comment as per above. I think someone is telling you porkies. | ![]() superg1

24/8/2018 10:51 | Indeed lucky, if those fox agreements are upto the permitted levels under current rules ie whilst in EU ? Could we see reciprocal movement in new induatries, like 2D, where China have an aim to be market leaders by 2025 ? All speculation, but if uk china relationship more formally arranged, could be good news for vrs. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj

24/8/2018 10:49 | Diplomat I believe that functionalisation isn't necessary and can quite often damage the graphene platelets. I'm sure superg1 can add more | ![]() chimpandy1

24/8/2018 10:48 | 1Savvy, as SuperG says you can never be a muppet selling 1m shares at a huge profit. Profits are only reality when banked, and nothing is certain in this world. You may or may not regret it down the line, but that is a different matter. I have seen so many BBs full of people certain in their investment only for 12 months later the share price is much lower and the regrets pour out. i don’t think that is the case here, however unless VRS has meaningful earnings to support the share price it may not be plain sailing. I’d make sure you toast your gains this weekend, and maybe buy 100k just incase it reaches the moon in the next year or two ;) | ![]() richardc77
24/8/2018 10:47 | sonson - well it's a fact that Fox is in China, the speculation is that this government desperately needs some good news about what the trading environment post-Brexit might look like, so will trumpet any large deals. Hopefully if that *is* the case VRS might get a mention by name as the kind of small (for now), highly innovative, hi-tech, world-leading, dynamic, entrepreneurial, disruptive company this government wants to encourage (although the reality is that *any* government should be encouraging such companies all the time, Brexit or no)... | ![]() club sandwich

24/8/2018 10:45 | Superg1:From the limited research I have done - insignificant in comparison to your knowledge base - I believe the missing piece in the VRS jigsaw, the stumbling block to orders materialising, is that of functionalisation.I read somewhere recently that NR is desperately keen to recruit someone who can achieve that for him.I would appreciate your comments on this please. | ![]() diplomat65
24/8/2018 10:45 | Level 2 After the late reports supply yesterday I've been watching singer to see what they did. In July they seem to have sole control of the supply. There were on the offer and I had those 3 trades as possible supply due to the odd prices (another noted trend). So good news so far that Singer have left the offer and are on the bid. Also when the supply was about it July with them they ran a 5p spread between their bid and offer price, now its 7p. EG they are on the bid at 151p and on the offer at 158p | ![]() superg1

24/8/2018 10:38 | Static electricity. I hadn't really thought of that much but it's starting to set off some thoughts having got a mention. Temp buildings. Two big car names have used a temp building that I know of and the plastic composite floor causes static build up and gives staff and customers a nice surprise every time they touch something earthed. Trampolines same issue re static build up. Rubber moving rails on elevators those blighters have caught me out a few times with tourettes post shock. Overall it must be a huge market to get something in the relevant materials to stop static. | ![]() superg1

24/8/2018 10:31 | Is it fair to say it looks like seller has a 150p floor ? That is in a good volume market. Similar to 120p recently, more miton in that case ? Any expert opinion care to comment ? Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj |
