24/8/2018 09:30 | With these recent announcements and having looked at Axia panels I've been wondering about graphene use with structural foam. Axia talked of those units with no other supports so I'm just wondering if graphene in the foam as well as the plastic would help, besides the plastic skin. Also curious as crash helmets have been a popular topic with graphene. Off to so some digging. | ![]() superg1

24/8/2018 09:27 | Lovat: thanks for the Peel Hunt thoughts ;0) Grabster: very useful thanks ;0) I googled 'large- scale polymer structures used in civil infrastructure projects' and have also found lots of examples, many from the ASCE library. Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1
24/8/2018 09:27 | It's fairly dangerous trying to trade this stock whether long or short. These days(unlike the dotcom era) I'm a buy and hold guy. Far easier way to make money and you don't have to waste time watching the screen. Let the trend be your friend. | ![]() chillpill

24/8/2018 09:23 | Examples of polymer materials in construction include: Epoxy resins: Solid resin, Terrazzo flooring, anchor fixings and adhesives. Ethylenetetrafluoroe Ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA): Solar panel encapsulants. Expanded polystyrene (EPS): Concrete moulds, insulation and packaging. Polycarbonate: Lighting housings, fittings in hot water systems and glazing. Polyester: FRP Bridge sections, cladding panels, sinks, surfaces and coatings. Polyethylene: Foam underlay, damp-proof membranes and coatings. Polyisobutylene (PIB): Sealants and waterproof membranes. Polymethylmethacryla Polypropylene (PP): Sound insulation, and pipes. Polyurethane (PU): Sealants and concrete jointing. Polyvinylchloride (PVC): Sealants, concrete jointing and fabric structures. Rubber: Bridge bearings and flooring -------------------- Polymer materials account for the highest growth area in construction materials. In basic terms, polymers are very long molecules typically made up of many thousands of repeat units. They include plastics, rubbers, thermoplastic elastomers, adhesives, foams, paints and sealants. Well established applications of polymers in construction include areas such as flooring, windows, cladding, rainwater, pipes, membranes, seals, glazing, insulation and signage. With thousands of commercially available polymers new applications are continuously emerging. | ![]() grabster

24/8/2018 09:18 | occult For anyone doing a bit of trading in any share then I find level 2 brilliant. I do silently trade some shares in an account and hunt for bad news bounces each day. Just one trade can pay for level 2 for a year and without it I wouldn't bother with the bounce trades. It's not just about the namers on the green but kicking up on the games MMs play sucking buyers/sellers in. A relatively easy thing to watch is when one is on eft bid or offer then watch for prices in that direction for trades. EG if someone was on the offer at 10p and the buys were 9.75, then 9.8, 9.9 and eventually 10p then more often that not it means the price on the offer is about to go up and the MM on the offer is about to flip to the bid. I never chase a trade. If there isn't an obvious one for days or a week then I don't hunt for them, let them come to you on strict rules. | ![]() superg1
