Hi folks, I'm a bit of a lurker, and don't post very often.

I'm nearing 52, and after a messy divorce in which i came out with peanuts, have rented a room in a house of multiple occupancy for the past 10 yrs. I had to move up north due to work, and also leave my old life behind me. Believe me its been tough starting all over again with very little savings.
I've invested in VRS in dribs and drabs since Oct 2016. I only intended to invest 3-4k, but as the price kept falling and the news kept flowing, I kept on investing more and more money (now over 20k with an average purchase price in the low 20s). This was a massive gamble for me, as I have virtually put all my eggs in one basket.
I now have a realistic HOPE that if I hold on long enough I may be able to buy outright my FIRST house, and finally own a piece of space i can call my own!!
I'll be able to move back to the midlands, and live closer to my friends and family.

One day I'm hoping I can live happily ever after!

Fest ... I remain heavy in both vrs and tern. The volumes at tern do not in any way indicate mass selling or large investors exiting. The stock has unfortunately attracted the worst excesses and in particular the rabid shorting cabal that we have witnessed here in the past. There are also some over enthusiastic bulletin boarders whose expectations are too far ahead of reality. What I would say is that their chairman Ian Ritchie is 1st class and also that their investee companies are making big strides. Think people get too impatient for big gains. If there is value it will come out ...just like here. If you invest in any stock do the research and trust your instincts. Have had a few painful lessons taking other approaches in past !! SuperG, what's changed for me on TERN is 2 things.Firstly the board were very happy to raise funds when the share price was 38p, and use that as a basis to place shares.But as the price rose further, they issued a speeding ticket RNS stating categorically that the assets were actually only worth 5p a share.You can't have it both ways, one of those actions is downright fraud. But which one?Secondly, it's the blatant liars on the bulletin board. All this talk of notifiable holders loading up more shares every day, but never a TR1 to back them up?Also, you know I like to do dummy buys and sells, but when people say things like..'no shares available' or 'cant buy online' I take a look and it's utter lies.So all in all, I've lost heart over there.

I'm amazed they are not all throwing up over the side at TERN. Every time I look it's swung in another direction.

Off topic ... Have a good look at the structure of Koovs and what they actually own ... Or don't ... before going in there.

I saw GWM take a dip on news. What has changed so much on TERN that has changed your view, is it just the share price moves?

As said I have my view re TERN but keep off there as it conflicts with some decent posters.

I did note many ex VRS posters on there so I can see where they flipped to.

A key for me is idea chasers. EG like over 100 Lithium mine chasers when there re room for about 5 big names. Then along same the graphite mine chasers with their world class assets which were simply abandoned assets by others for a good reason.

Software companies and the like have had a good run, cyber security this and that has been a recent trend.

There is absolutely no way of checking out if the tech works or what competitors are about. The only truth there is if it's taken up big time or not. It's also normally a high R and D costs area and 1000's in the game.

BTW A friend of mine (probably reading this post) has been approached about some all singing and dancing physical add on that would stop it all.

So you just never know what is coming, it sounded pretty incredible.
