Thanks Chill, I didn't wonder why they do that at times.

On another topic. One event of national significance out of the way and it came out positive, let's hope the other one does too.

Over to you Matt.

Club Sandwich, 19631 of 19649: "Thanks Woody, much appreciated ;-)"

The charts are showing some very bullish signals that our man from the club is indeed a reformed character. If the long term trend is borne out then the old sandwich may never be seen again. Might take a punt and invest some more reading time into this thread.

A wide dealing spread(as we are seeing at the moment) usually means the market makers don't have access to any institutional sellers and therefore have to adopt a more defensive position to avoid being caught short.

ps

The seller isn't back that was just the retail lot doing their usual no news exit.

However the buyer does seem to be there.

Thanks for your views as ever Superg1: of course, we all thought graphene in batteries was a couple of years off too. Consulting my notes the wmg tech does still work without graphene & they're still preferred for a water filter plant in Gibraltar, so...

(No vrs were sold in the making of my Mwg punt) and of course there was a tree shake over there as soon as I bought too. 'Wait for half eight to take the bait' - how's that for a stock market adage?

CS, We took our granddaughter out yesterday and drove through a large industrial estate whilst in our way. I have never seen as many cars parked outside the factory units. At the moment at least here in the Midlands SME business seem to be thriving.

I hope we can reach an agreement with the EU that will be good for all, but if that is not possible, I am not as fearful as some. There are many thousands of businesses that reporters never talk to whereas the views of multinationals who have done very nicely out of globalisation are reported.
Let’s hope for all a good agreement can be reached, at the last minute as usual.

I see AIG are re-locating their entire European insurance operation to Luxembourg because of Brexit. Huge pressure growing on the government to produce some good news stories. All of which bodes very well for VRS but not, I fear, for the wider country...

Graphene water filters are way off. Graphene oxide is generally used for those. Lockheed Martin are a big name working hard on that. The UOM have only just cracked it on a lab scale, there was a problem with swelling of platelets.

Just saying from the bits I have picked up on.
