Flurry of sizeable late trades gone through. Be good to think this is any seller(s) /weak holders using the improved liquidity to exit and also gives a chance for sizeable buys.Clearly there are buyers for the stock in size at the moment.

Yes, agree with that re volume.Increased liquidity means any weak holders can exit and new investors can get hold of a meaningful stake.

Surprisingly big volume today, another bullish technical sign having a rise on large volumes

Current market cap is £10m, very low.Yes, beyond the light weight solar the collaboration with Paragraf could send the stock to a new dimension. If they can successfully commercialise a graphene enhanced PV panel then all bets are off! Sky's the limit. Worth checking out Paragraf and seeing how much money they've had pumped into them, think it's over £28m in the last year!

I agree. The light weight factor is very critical in many applications for solar.
Also think the Paragraf link may throw up other 'things'...not sure what yet.

Agree risk/reward is very positive, very small market cap, potential for plenty of upside. At 10p still less than 30 million cap with vast potential if they get this right.

It may not get there, but, imo, stock has ability to 10-20 bag, if they can get it right.Long way to go, but the risk/reward here is favourable.

I agree. 8p would still only value the company at £23m, a tiny valuation relative to the market opportunity!

Although it looks like somewhere around 2.5p was the bottom, these sort of levels are still very low.Interesting to note a non exec director was happy to convert his £1m CLN at 8p five or six months ago. Gives some idea of where this could go, presumably the NED thinks a lot higher than 8p. That would be a good start.

Finally plucked up courage to buy some this morning. The prospects are very good, but was nervous in these markets. I'm obviously not in at the bottom, but I like to wait for the technicals to suggest a bottom has been reached. And the chart is now looking very positive and suggests this is now going to trend up.

Very impressed with Rob. As previously mentioned, he is laser focused on sales and making the company profitable.

His initial focus will be installations currently using diesel power generation that can be converted to solar, namely oil and gas, mining and military. The economics are extremely good for the end user compared to diesel and have other benefits (reduces need for diesel supply runs, risk of interruption of diesel supply etc).

He can leverage his background and contacts to drive sales quickly. The 14 April RNS gives Rob’s background and track record of sales generation, including this paragraph on his previous role at Ecolog:

‘Rob developed and initiated the market strategy and project pipeline of $ 170 M in four months, targeting Oil & Gas and independent power producers with a focus on renewable and hybrid power solutions.’

So he’s been working in the precise industry that we need, with renewable power solutions and hybrid power solutions (e.g. combining solar and diesel, which is what these types of installations will require). He’s also got a proven sales record in this industry and contacts in the industry.

He was very bullish. They only need a tiny fraction of the addressable market in order to fill the 20MW factory.

You have summed it up nicely astral. The Pargraf connection seems under the radar and gives them access to world leading technology. I believe they are slowly becoming more commercial and these lightweight panels could really take off. Put some on your car roof! I got in a bit early so still underwater here but not by much and definitely bought as a longer term play.

Have been reading up about paragraf.com, VDTK's partner in the Graphene solar panels project.Paragraf look an impressive outfit and that reflects well on VDTK.Paragraf have been well funded, £12.2m going in last July and a further £16.2m in December. One can only hazard a guess at the Paragraf valuation, £100m-£200m would be my guess. That puts VDTK, as one of Paragrafs partners in a good light with m.cap around £8m or something like.If VDTK have got someone with good commercial ability on board, then the sky is the limit wrt the Graphene project. The light weight solar panels also have great prospects.I'm coming round to the view that the risk/reward here is favourable. Clearly the risks are high. I'm looking forwards to better comms and transparency, as suggested by mcfly.Shares could double and then some in the blink of an eye if news is encouraging here.GLA

Cheers for the updates Mcfly, appreciated.I think you must be correct, that RR has bought the shares prior to being involved with the company. Bit of transparency and info on this subject wouldn't go amiss. I may well email them and test out their IR.Good to hear of improved comms going forwards.I'm not keen on companies that leave it till the last legal minute to issue interims and full year reports, which seems to be Verditek MO. Also they report on things like MW for break even, Nigerian orders but there's never any follow up. The conclusion is that sales are zilch despite saying umpteen times they are moving from R&D to commercial. They sound and act like typical AIM suck investors in and pay inflated salaries merchants. On the positive side someone keeps funding them, the story sounds good and the new guy gives some hope. The company needs a bloody big shake up in attitude, delivery and comms, imo, if it is to be taken as a serious company worthy of investment.

On the 2 million shares Rob owns, I think these are definitely all shares he has bought himself, rather than been given by the company previously. What I saw the RNS I went back and checked the number of shares in issue at various times. The company hasn't issued any shares recently, other than the last few lots of fundraising shares. Meaning that Rob bought the shares himself.

Rob was asked about the lack of updates and shareholder engagement and this is something that he is going to change going forwards.

Rob wouldn’t have been a director when he made the purchases. He’s just been appointed CEO and is joining the board now.

He wasn’t on the board previously (he joined a few weeks ago in the role of Commercial Director, but that was just a job title, he wasn’t a director of the company).

Not sure when he made the purchases, could even have been before he joined the company. It’s certainly a good sign though.

Looked through the releases and I can't see it.Must say I'm not over impressed with the company's reporting in general, esp timely reports and complete lack of financial info in updates.
