07/5/2020 16:22 | Yes - he already holds 2m. Not sure what price he bought at. At least £40k worth of purchases though. | mcfly79
07/5/2020 16:14 | I can see in directorate changes that RR holds 2m shares, but I can't seem to find where it says he has bought them @ 2.5p?Any pointers gratefully received.TIAGLA | astralvision
07/5/2020 15:16 | Thanks for your post Mcfly - Truly hope this is a turning point. 2 million shares at 2.5p is £50,000. From Rob Richards' LinkedIn profile: "Demonstrated ability of setting new strategies and taking companies in a new more profitable direction." | shieldbug
07/5/2020 14:30 | I took part in the fundraise. Had a call with the company and I was extremely impressed with Rob Richards. He has a laser focus on making sales. He has the background and contacts to achieve a step change in sales in the very near term. He’s already exploiting those contacts. The company has a world class product ready to sell (the only TUV approved product of its kind) and now has the right CEO to drive sales. I’m hoping the company will achieve break even this year and make a substantial profit next year, and no more fundraising will be required. Great to see that Rob Richards has bought 2m shares. | mcfly79
05/5/2020 11:13 | Verditek share price is going well today. Here are a couple of recent news items on their website: "Verditek and Electric Assisted Vehicles Limited have signed an agreement to integrate our lightweight low-profile solar technology into the roof of their zero-emission lightweight commercial vehicles. Our PV panels will be integrated into the EAV electrical system to extend the range of the EAV vehicle. Upon successful completion of the three-month trial our companies will agree further collaboration to create renewable zero-emission transport solutions. Verditek will create a custom solar panel to match the surface area available on the vehicle to maximise power generation. The solar panel will be integrated onto the roof and the vehicle battery at the EAV Cargo manufacturing facility in Oxfordshire."....... ...."Adam Barmby, EAV Founder and CEO said: We are really excited about our partnership with Verditek. The ability to increase our range by up to 30% through a highly efficient, roof mounted solar panel system will work incredibly well with our already energy efficient transport solution. We’re eager to explore the potential of our vehicles into remote locations by using Verditek solar, ultra-low environmental impact mobility products will make a huge difference without literally costing the earth!" 27/4/2020 08:18 | So despite never announcing that the factory had closed they now tell us it reopened 3 weeks ago. I have an investment in Verditek that I have mentally written off. Since the factory opened (May 2019) we have not heard one single piece of news of product being successfully made and shipped to a customer. At the time they announced the factory opening they said "our first material distribution agreement comprising a multi-year take or pay contract that begins with a minimum of 1 MW in the first year and increases to 3 MW in the second year. The first 200 kW will be shipped within 16 weeks and serve to establish the factory." So was the first 200kW shipped? | shieldbug
