16/1/2022 20:37 | Chawkers all your posts on VDTK have always been negative! Do you want them to fail or are you looking for a ‘I have told you so moment’?. Would that make you feel better? I agree we haven’t heard much good news of late but I don’t wish them to fail. I don’t think owning the design; manufacturing and distribution process should all be done in-house but at least they have a good product. Still hopeful we get a decent trading update soon. | ddt1455
15/1/2022 13:01 | Sunman is expanding its lightweight flexible panel production (using eArc technology)from 500MW to 1GW by June 2022.Game over for VDTK I'm afraid as they will get crushed on pricing. | chawkers
12/1/2022 10:05 | Evolving market place; I'm optimistic 2022 will prove positive. | owlbach
11/1/2022 09:42 | I agree. The market cap is so low now that, even if they are looking for just one more year of financing (£3.5m), the maths are stacked against you. New shareholders will not be interested in anything without a massive discount and a complete clear-out of the Board of Directors. With a proper new management you may have a hope if you believe in the technology (I am sceptical). However you are going to see this stock a lot lower than even this before that happens. Much more likely scenario is that the company just falls to zero. | horseposture
11/1/2022 08:26 | Verditek is a busted flush imo. In the current environment, based on VDTK's abysmal track record of delivering on promises over the last 18 months since the infamous Paul Harrison vimeo presentation, I would be frankly amazed if either institutional investors or PIs were willing to subscribe to even a heavily discounted CR. | chawkers
10/1/2022 14:10 | campomarIf they discount it enough, they will get it away. Plus doubtless Rob & co will promise the earth. Still, if with a big discount I think they will struggle to find too many takers. They need orders, from customers that actually pay, and big ones at that. | astralvision
10/1/2022 13:31 | Placing is almost guaranteed. If they can get it away that is. | 32campomar
10/1/2022 13:27 | I said I wasn’t going to buy in any more unless we get an update but at this price I am tempted again. Purely speculative of course but has always worked for me in the past | ddt1455
10/1/2022 13:18 | 2p now coming into sight.Well done Rob, massive achievement! | astralvision
07/1/2022 12:16 | They talked about licensing the tech out to a factory in Portugal a few years ago, but, as with a lot of things VDTK, we never hear anything more. | astralvision
07/1/2022 11:45 | Wonder if they have considered licencing out the technology if it has unique properties. Never a good idea for small companies with limited resources to get involved in global manufacturing/market If the power output issues are fixed then the lightness should ensure some reasonable market positions. Next update will be interesting. | meijiman
07/1/2022 11:39 | Must be approaching TU time. The share price is obviously not expecting it to amount to too much.Wonder if this is the year they might get a decent contract?Time running out for 'tell us a story' Rob, well time and, crucially, money.Still, so long as there's enough to pay the wages for another few months..... | astralvision
30/12/2021 18:21 | I sold my stock about a year ago. I've lost money many times investing in small caps but somehow avoided this howler. The reason I sold then was, after their last placing, nothing seemed to happen and I got suspicious about what might be going on. A small company with next to no sales record and a balance sheet with virtually no cash is now going to find it impossible to sign a serious order. Firstly, the client won't want to commit to placing their business with an unknown. Secondly, they will have to wait many months before they get paid for that order --they can't wait many months unless they raise more money. I don't know how many of you will be interested in subscribing if they have an offering, I certainly won't be and I very much doubt there will any institutional interest. At a sub 2p listing price (where market cap of company would be only around £6m) can you realistically raise another £3.5m (the same as in October 2020) for another year of life? I don't think it's feasible. If this company was worth anything at all, someone might have expressed an interest in buying it. No one has. I was quite surprised how the stock managed a brief uptick earlier in the year but it turned out it was yet another false dawn --I am pretty certain this chatroom will be closed by the end of 2022. Let's see --I have been wrong many times before. | horseposture
30/12/2021 16:32 | To be honest if they get a placing away, more importantly persuade someone to back it (with positive progress news) it could bring this back to life. Only problem is at what discount? The way it's going it may be sub 2p... | 32campomar
30/12/2021 16:05 | Could be campomarCan't be too much ££££'s left in the kitty by now. | astralvision
30/12/2021 13:12 | Agree very disappointing and right now I don’t really care about sales. I want to hear Rob’s road map for the next three years. Small road shows and a few orders just doesn’t cut it. Either focus on R&D alone or sell the shop to someone who knows how to run a B2B business. | ddt1455
30/12/2021 12:07 | Maybe pre placing decline? They must be running on fumes. | 32campomar
30/12/2021 11:12 | Share price close to halving in just over a month! What exactly is Rob doing?Whatever it is, it ain't working. If only they could find out where those nicked panels went they might have some decent sales leads! | astralvision
30/12/2021 11:09 | Looks like next stop is 2p looking at the charts.Needs something drastic to stop the rot.Like an order? One year and no orders, of any note, takes some doing. | astralvision
22/12/2021 16:21 | ddtI think that's correct, until we have an update/cash position you can't really pin a value on this.Fwiw I feel 2p/3p is a lot closer to the mark than the 4.5p or whatever it was recently. No orders, they need cash for the wrong reasonsOrders, they need cash for the right reasons.Either way they need that cash and soon, imo. | astralvision
22/12/2021 15:39 | It’s anyones guess where the share price goes next. Made no sense at 4.80 same as it make no sense to me at 3. Only an update will give us a true indication of its potential. All speculative right now but I want them to succeed! | ddt1455
22/12/2021 15:16 | Interesting turnaround on small volume | dubois
22/12/2021 15:11 | Vlue Wednesday!Turn up for the books. | astralvision
21/12/2021 16:16 | Hi duboisWell, you're certainly not stupid and your posts are valued. It's certainly a nasty fall. It needs, imo, something special to avoid the situation of lower and lower sp, cash running out and hefty dilution if they can raise. So a large order with a good % of cash upfront would fit the bill. Presumably Rob has been doing something for the last 18 months. | astralvision |
