i have bought a few today as I feel with Alton towers opening "Your Day" could really take off; also some really large (45k GBP x2) went thru yesterday and they look like buys - although they didn't budge the share price curiously enough (unless delayed trades but not marked as such)

Just reread the trading statement from last year - I can't believe that this company has fallen so far with all the positive noises regarding contracts etc.

Is it just a case of no news (other than a fundraising with no detailed explanation) means nothing to prop the price up, or is there something fundamentally wrong (can only imagine that people are worried about cash burn until profitability)??

If Alton Towers, plus all the other deals come to fruition, may be bargain of all time!!

All IMHO, DYOR etc.

Regards
HGL

Alton Towers re-opens this week-end. Let's hope the rain/winds die down and the YourDay DVD uptake is good and we get some early news to that effect.

I thought YourDay looked quite good - see the link

Also the full-year figures are due by the end of this month, but I haven't seen a date. A bit worrying, that. We know the figures themselves aren't good, but it will be interesting to see if there is more detail on what they used the fund-raising for. Perhaps they will delay to be able to announce some good Alton Towers numbers ?

Scruitable - have you given up on this stock?

This offering extracted from Martin Lewis may encourage a lot of additional visitors to Alton towers this year.

Two Ways To Get to Alton Towers Dirt Cheap
Two free (£25) tickets to Alton Towers for £1.40 - £2.50. The Sun newspaper is giving away a pair of free tickets to Alton Towers if you collect 7 differently numbered tokens between now and 6 March and you must apply by 10 March.

Each copy of The Sun costs 20-35p so the most you'll have to pay is £2.45. Adult tickets usually retail for about £25 each so this is a snip in comparison!

Yet you don't choose your day; instead you select a date range and tickets are sent on a first come, first served basis for a specific date. This does mean you may be sent 'term-time school-day' tickets which could be a problem. See full details.
2 for 1 Alton Towers Tickets. The theme park deal below includes Alton towers, so use that if the Sun deal isn't flexible enough
2 for 1 at theme parks and attractions nationwide

Pick up a promotional pack of Tetley Tea (the cheapest is about £1.50) and you get a 2 for 1 voucher which can be used at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Madame Tussauds, The Dungeons, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland

Scrutable - do you think it is right that you should advertise your company on ADVFN?

I've always challenged your views on VSH - on this thread - you obviously got it very wrong.

I have started my own business from scratch and I'm currently doing it again, but I don't use someone else's website to promote my own business and generate revenue (as you do) without their permission.

Scrut. I was just pointing out that lemminginvestor.co.uk was not your web site and it was showing some incoherent investment advice. I notice lemminginvestor.co.uk no longer works.

Cant complain myself as I have followed only one of your investments (TMC) which did well for me but I cant see this one coming back from the dead. Agree EEN looks due for a breakout following the last RNS, but the share price is in a world of its own.

Glad you are better Scruts.

Stupidly I did not sell TMC at the top.

I look forward to a trickle of updates.

I agree with scrutable on lemming performance. Many stocks have multibagged after being recommended by them. Some have shot up quickly after being recommended. If people got out at right time you could have made a fortune on their reccomendations.

Sorry you have it wrong. We provide information on unusual companies - not promises of 'get rich quick'. Sometimes it takes five years to get the share price and the financial performance of a start up in balance. Have you run a company up from a greenfield yourself?

Last year some subscribers to lemming multibagged on ReneSola and a switch to Toledo Mining but it can't be predicted. MDX and EEN are about to come right but both have been years inh the making with lots of disappointment.

Ih current markets we still write about interesting companies with a future but strongly advise against investment with short term expectations if they are not yet generating cash.

We have just written an update on VHS reporting in particular on the potential after the IAATA exhibition in Orlando. Revenue from Alton Towers should resume its rise after launch of a full season for YourDay in May 08. Last year start up was slow and late and never completed. It was not much more than a beta test. This year should see a few orders placed for YourDay for installation re 2009, after which growth should accelerate.

Another one for the long term and a five-bagger to return to the 35p share price,
when the core business just starting to build up and YourDay was not visible? The business is far more established now.

my apology to friends but I have been hit very hard by a bad virus and have been out of action for four months. I am back at the desk, and contributing research again.

Sorry that I attract the shorting scum, aliases in the wake of Giltspur. He must find me very dangerous, to try his hand so hard at denigration!

Turnover last year was £3m, most of it in the 2nd half. Mkt Cap now just under £5m. Ignoring Alton Towers, the PSR should be around 1.0 this year. Worth keeping on the radar ?
